I met Andy & the owner of Das Werk at the show. Both are very 'upbeat ' personalities. Their whole table crew ( employees) were genuinely friendly and helpful. A good experience overall. Two thumbs up.

Thanks Andy! If I didn't already have that Dad Week Stug, I'd jump on that offer. Those resin figures from Border are very nice. I built up a set in 1/35 scale that came with the T-34/85 and they were great. Looking forward to the M8 and those interior details! I enjoy adding all those wiring details as well so I'm looking forward to it

My Dad crewed an M8 from Falaise to Austria.

1. The Das Werk figures look nice, with all sorts of awesome detail in the uniforms, kit & weapons...but at first glance, it appears that the faces are much less detailed/realistic than with the H3 figures.🤔The bundle price with the Das Werk Stug IIIF (early) with winterketten is fantastic! 👍 2. The M8 looks SUPERB, and I will be paying close attention to how the wiring & other extra detailing is done !👍👍

Thanks, Andy, for the update. Nice figures, but it seems a bit sift for the molding. I think the resin, although at first blush, is softer to allow less breaking. It also is a hindrance to sharp details such as SOL and H3 have. It's great that you listen to the modelers. I remember r saying to you at the San Marcos IPMS Nationals..."more figures, more figures!!" Regardless, nice price, however. It just depends on the want of the modeler. I'll be ordering the SDK 152 German figure set by SOL once you get it in. Even though pricier, I think of much better detail. The M8 looks 👍 great. Looks like you should add detailing books along with your great 1/16 scale kits for super detailing. All in all, great opportunities for all of us modelers. Thanks to AHHQ!

You have a lot of cool stuff there, my dad tends to throw my stuff away!!!! ) : I've had all sorts of awesome things chucked away by my dad!!!! My computer from 1993 in 2001 when I was 12!!!! I miss playing all the old classics, my army men and Airfix models are some of the only survivors!!!! I've just been reattaching the thread to my parachute guys. I only have one more to re-thread!

I got my Tiger Big Box this week as well as the 1/16 early Tiger 1 . I would love to add a Stug 3 and a Hetzer in 1/16 as well .

I got my Tigers this morning and I’m looking forward to the M8 and Puma. As you consider more models for your 1/16 line, please consider a Lee / Grant, Matilda II, Churchill or Crusader. The Churchill in particular would be a great base for an AVRE, Crocodile, Ark etc

Received my 1/35 Mid-production Tiger today. The FB Nazis block me from posting a pic of it on Andy's FB page. Always a pleasure doing modeling business with Andy's shop, never had an issue. Going to use this kit as a guide to correct any errors on the 1/16 Hobby boss Tiger. Now to pop the top on this kit.

Andy, thanks to you I now have an insatiable 1/16 kit collection habit. So many lovely kits, and so little time! I’m hoping I live long enough to build them all, plus all the others I will inevitably obtain. Fortunately my wife doesn’t mind me buying them as it prevents me from going to a bar or dabbling in casinos. So there is that. Please could you persuade someone to make a 1/16 Churchill tank kit, as it would make me and quite a lot of British model makers very happy….

However you are missing out on THE biggest model show in the world at Telford in the U.K. You could do a great special presentation at that show and it would greatly increase your profile both personal and business! Give it some thought as I think you'll enjoy the experience!!

Hey Andy, there is a King Tiger tank located in La Gleize Belgium. It's about a two hour drive from Eindhoven. It ran out of fuel and was abandoned during the Battle of the Bulge. I think the Americans pushed it off the road and nobody ever came to get it so it was towed into town and they made a little museum by it. Pretty cool!

Around La Gleize were abandoned hundreds of vehicles,Kampfgruppe Peiper was isolated and had to evacuate on foot back to Germany,having advanced only about 30 miles.

Looking forward to the M8. I think on the figures that the helmets should be molded separate from the heads. Easier to paint that way. Great deal on the figures and Stug!

I am sometimes afraid that people will quite doing contemporary traditional hobbies. Luckily, there are still folks that build models and play classical instruments. I hope I die before everything nice is gone.

3D printed figures redone for mass production in silicone moulds not sure how i feel about that with the way they have done this get lost 150 lol cist no more that 3 bucks for an stl of them each! Since bringing in my own 3D printers for the hobby its unbelievable how much you save and just how much we get ripped off

$150.00........ If your into this hobby get into printing. The amount of WWII 3D files has exploded in the last year. Creators figured out there is a market for it. I could print every one of those figures for about $1.50 a piece. Then print again at any scale I want.

I Just said the exact same thing! Stl for pennies for one these but even Better! Not for me now since bringing in 3D printers to my hobby! Learning to create my own figures just now aswell, amazing how much we get ripped off when you see what they have got there files for in the past! It's easy to locate the designer of the figures sometimes I'll see them and grab them before companies reach out to buy the designers stl files so I have them before they go missing offline
