Neville Goddard: Believe It In┋Read by Josiah Brandt

One of Neville's all-time greatest lectures, including the story of "I Remember When." This easy-to-understand, life-empowering instruction manual for the use of the human imagination was originally presented by Neville Goddard in 1969.
"The objective reality of this world is solely produced by the human imagination, in which all things exist. Tonight I hope to show you how to subjectively appropriate that which already exists in you, and turn it into an objective fact. Your life is nothing more than the out picturing of your imaginal activity, for your imagination fulfills itself in what your life becomes."

So on our first week the truck driver in house 13 on same street threw dirty oil on our lawn! And our nature street UNTILL I caught him! Great reading, Josiah (as always!) - thank you. As I listened, 3 thoughts came to mind: (1) I like how Neville says here, "Delight in the Law (of God)..." - this automatically alleviates worrying, since if you're delighting in the use of It, you're coming from the state of the wish(es) fulfilled. :-) (2) I imagine Neville and Albert Einstein would have gotten along well - I recently came across this quote: "Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere." - Einstein. (3) In this lecture, Neville mentions psychology as being "a bunch of nonsense" - I'm not sure what information he was basing his statement on back then, but I've known several people for whom And while therapy doesn't replace the spiritual Truth which Neville speaks of in his works, I've known several people for whom psychotherapy actually turned out to be the bridge to their spiritual journey and the Truth of which Neville speaks. Their therapy, while not of a religious nature, helped them remove blocks to their happiness and love Life again, and indirectly sparked their interest in the spiritual - and they found themselves trusting God and drawn to Neville's teachings. Since God is in all, God dwells within the wise, compassionate, ethical therapists who helped these people move forward. For some, a spiritual journey makes therapy unnecessary - but I've noticed that for many, therapy has been the bridge to their openness to Truth. I think many paths to the recognition of Truth can be valid. Anyway, Josiah, your readings are unmatched - thanks again.

Josiah I just wanted to thank you for your lovely videos and interpretation of Neville. I’m pretty new to his teachings and am doing my best every day to remember I am the operant power. My ego keeps wanting to tell me this whole things is not true and life is a myriad of coincidences but I am buying that pearl!

I mean, I'm all for Law of Attraction/Assumption stuff. However, Neville is so overrated... Really, as much as he taught some good techniques, he always came up with loads of incomprehensible nonsense. Also, he just jumped into the "New Thought Movement" bandwagon at the time but made up some silly story about being taught by some exotic priest. His writings are pretty shallow and not all that insightful. Joseph Murphy and Napoleon Hill did a way better job in explaining this stuff.

The "incomprehensible nonsense" is the part that is revealed to be absolute brilliance once it is fully grasped. This is where Neville stands head and shoulders above the rest. It can take some time to resonate though, and there is no rush. Enjoy the journey 😊

@@Josiah.Brandt He doesn't "stand out". He's just popular and overrated like Justin Bieber or the Twilight movies back in early 2010s. Thanks but that's the last time I try his books anyways, as there are plenty of superior options.

    (1) Democracy has never worked (2) Neville interpretation of the Bible doesn't make any sense, even for an esoteric unorthodox approach. (3) Dude said psychology is all nonsense... Wut?
