Against Arsenal and City at Anfield as well. To be fair, even though we should have been awarded a penalty in both matches, we also could've won without that, we were better than both of them, especially in the 2nd half and we missed some crucial chances (few from Diaz against City and Trent 1 vs 1 when he hit the post).

I agree. The title is wide open for all three teams. City can easily drop points in any of those away fixtures.

It's in the hands of Man City. It depends if they slip up, but looking at the run-in their remaining games are pretty easy, with the exception of Tottenham. Liverpool have tough games against Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Not only all of that, but just two words: Goal Difference. Arsenal just need City to drop points while Liverpool need both Arsenal and City to drop points because of GD. City can draw one game and Arsenal will take lead but chances are Liverpool would need City to lose in order for them to lead

Wow hell of a debate

I feel as if both Arsenal and Liverpool let themselves down in their respective games against City. A statement win from either of them there would have made them favorites and knocked City off their stride. I know it's easy to say now in hindsight, but Liverpool especially should have beaten City. Now, it all just feels a bit familiar and inevitable.

I think if not for that 4-3 loss to United, Liverpool would still have a chance. They were fighting on 3 competitions. United knocked them out and its been downhill since.

Of course they can 😂 It's a question of "will they?"

If not for dodgy refs, Liverpool should be at least 3 points clear. This “title race” has been engineered by bookies

Jones red card was a joke, as well as the Diaz "offside" Until Jones red card we had 7 shots on goal and 4 on target, while Spurs had 0 shots! We were absolutely dominating them Arsenal - Odegaard handball, 2 extra points for us and 1 less for Arsenal City - Doku kung fu kick! 2 extra points for us and 1 less for City So we should have 7 extra points if the refs and VAR had done their jobs right

Everybody has a chance, i think we are still in for a huge shock result. Obviously city seem to have the better run of fixtures however they looked to be running out of energy. they'll have to wrap kdb up in bubble wrap after each game. An injury to him could derail them.

Yes, we can still win the Premier League, but we have to win all of our remaining games. That alone will be very difficult, but Manchester City also have to drop points, and even though they have a couple of tricky games left, they still have the easiest games left of the top teams. I’m sure Arsenal will drop points with the games they have left, but Manchester City I’m not so sure about. But i hope they do, and that Liverpool end up winning the Premier League title. It’s also hard to think of a better way for Jurgen Klopp to end his time in Liverpool. They have to stay calm and avoid outside distractions, and only focus on the task in front of them. That, a ‘Never Give Up’ attitude, and we have done all we really can do. As long it’s possible, we will fight and give everything that we have. Let’s go Liverpool FC!!! ❤

That's a logical fallacy 😂 What if we snagged a draw against Palace instead of losing, or converted more of our chances against United, or didn't draw with LUTON, or didn't lose 2 points at the death to Brighton.....The final standings are the accumulation of hundreds if not thousands of moments across 38 full matches, so it can't be isolated to a single decision or mistake. Regardless of the outcome, we Walk On 💪

Do whatever we could do but the openly admitted mistake by the method of VAR handling by PGMOL was nothing to do with wether we converted more shots or drew against another club. It was totally unjust decision that was not related to play in any way. It was a communication error. This what not a decision. Not debatable. It was a total off field error that cost us points. It stands out in the season because its the only occurrence where this happened to affect the result. And it may cost us the league title. Just as much of an error as someone coming along today and deducting 1 or 3 points from us for nothing at all, just becase there was a database error and you've lost a few points.

Because even though it was unlawful and unfair, a lot has happened since then. In fact, just a few weeks ago we were 1st in the league and it was "in our hands" to win it. Arsenal goal difference is something being completely ignored but could be pivotal. Being 7 clear at this stage is almost worth a guaranteed “extra point”. One city draw and it’s back in Arsenal’s hands. Got to pick up 3 against Chelsea at home this week though which won’t be straight forward.

It’s interesting, LFC spent half of the season playing poorly and grinding out results and are still right up there next to a far more consistent City, and Arsenal, who have been playing out of their skins. To think that despite that LFC could have been well ahead after refs stitched them up in Spurs and Arsenal games highlights what a monstrous team they are.
