New "Caruso Knee Rehab Plan" is to just skate across America. Side effects may include chunked wheels, high slim jim intake, and propensity to say "yo" to livestock.

Been sober from opiates and meth for about seven years and I started skating again about two years ago. I don't try anything crazy but I ride around with my dog and teach all the neighborhood kids how to kickflip and ollie. What you're doing is inspirational and I'm here for it man Just donated brother, vaya con dios

Good morning I hope everyone is doing well another beautiful day let's Skate
Hey Chad I broke my femur some years back and skating is so hard for me now but that's beside the point. I just wanted to say your an inspiration to me. When I'm pulling doubles at work, no days off to support my family and I feel like giving up I think of you lately dude. Your an American hero my bro. You don't quit and I admire that. Peace.

Motion is lotion as far as pain is concerned! Keep pushing Chad! This is so inspirational man. I rode my bike 6 miles in the rain with my son instead of using the rain as an excuse to sit on the couch all thanks to you Chad!

Hell yeah, skate or die! 🎉 from turlock ca
I agree with that dude, moving to America from California definitely takes some getting used to hahaha!
I'm not sure I identify with you more, or less, because of my own issues with addiction, but I think your honest humanity comes across in the same way to most of us, genuine, humbling, and inspiring. I swear I'm going to remember 2023 as the year Chad skated across America till I die, and I bet I am not alone in the slightest. Also.."hopefully it's chocolate" LOL :)
I’ve been following you for years and stoked you’re doing this. I’ve been skating 2 miles to work everyday now because of you. I’m 53
I can't believe you are actually skating across America you really doing it...like as a Skater myself this is awesome to witness. Much respect brother!
thank you chad. ill keep it short but watching your vids in the morning is helping me find motivation during a tough time im just trying to get past.

Stay up! It'll get better one day. This YT rando promises it.
That last bit had me cringing with how close the cars were getting and then swerving. Stay safe and keep rolling!
I was literally rubbing my stiff knee watching this... I just had surgery on April 22 and Went skating yesterday (5-12-23) for the first time in over a year and it felt great! Going to try and do a mile with ya on the last day! All your videos and IG posts have been such an inspiration to me over the last few weeks and now that i just watched this one, I'm going to get a quick sesh before the storms today! See you soon. The Dude.
I am proud to say, I Quit smoking the day/week you started this journey. I tried your no smokes and caffeine. Needed my coffee but after 35 years. I can say Thanks to you I AM CIGARETTE FREE. Such an inspiration and life changer. For real I didnt think I could kick that habit. Thank you.
Dude, what an adventure! I am 46 and still skateboard. Big love to all the people who recognized you along the way and to everybody enjoying skateboarding. Take good care of yourself,Chad🤘
If there is a movie it has to be called " No Thanks, I'm Actually Skateboarding Across America " lol

Morning guys! Aight, it is day number 607! Pretty intense wind this morning as we have a blizzard crossing the Bering Strait! Coming to the tail end of our trip though and I could not be more stoked!
That's great about your knee, and I think really good to hear for all of us skaters out there full of injuries, that perhaps strengthening won't make things worse but infact better
This journey helped me realize my problem with smoking habits and I’m now two weeks sober. Weed may not seem like much to most people but this is a huge step for me so thank you Chad you’re awesome

I've been watching since say 1. Definitely been an inspiration to get sober for myself. I'm definitely starting with buying a board to keep myself busy. Thanx Chad.
It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday
This inspires me to push harder on everything in my life - thanks for the stoke, Chad!
Thanks for your inspiration you are truly a trailblazer
Chad is going to be able to dunk like Michael Jordan when this is over.
The cows mean muggin you and following you along fences have been hilarious. Its awesome how mind clearing this has been for you, I think a lot of viewers get some of that thru screen osmosis. Badass man!
The main difference with the Appalachian mountains and the mountains you came from is the width. The mountains you have already passed were very steep and long but not very wide. The Appalachians are very wide so you will be going up and down and up and down. Just know once you get through the Mountains and Piedmont regions its all flat plains from there!
Dude you’re such a legend. I’m 19 and I skate every day. I couldn’t imagine skating for more than and hour without a break. You’re superhuman

this is an insane journey i am witnessing. cannot believe you’re doing 50/60+ miles a day. that’s incredible.
When you were in Little Rock I enjoyed my ninth anniversary without booze. It took a lot of help from old timers (many named Bill) and others like yourself. I especially love hat you barely mention it, we learn from how you handle your affairs. Peace and yo.
you put a smile on my face before i go to work everyday! Thank you for everything you've shared and learned on your journey, helped me out tons with my mindset.
Legendary inspiring attitude youve had through the whole push. This has changed my point of view , thank you .
“Just gotta cruise through Tennessee, Appalachian’s & Virginia” 😂 holy shit man. I didn’t think you’d make it this far. Absolute madlad.
Just binged all episodes, now I'm up to date! Keep it up, greetings from Sweden!
Congrats men I just started skating this year, I have horrible roads in Mexico City so seeing you push in shitty pavement in Texas was so motivating and remind me r that I just complain that much and embrace it . Thank you!
You're like a nomad traversing over the Siberian steppe. Your knees get stronger. Because they have to! Praise the gods!

Killer to see you showing life after alcohol. That's a hard thing to visualize when you're in it. Kickass man!🤘
Keep pushing bro it's great thing that we live in a world where its relatively easy to document what your doing. MASSIVE Achievement so far dude. Good luck.
I've been watching your vids for years.Burnsider for decades, I'm 61.Mostly your tutorials I've been on a roller coaster of injuries for 4 years,3 on a clavicle 1 broken femur ,6 surgeries. I've been considering start a non profit to build a skatepark on my reservation & provide boards for native & low income kids & I WAS going to copy you,yes straight up copy you, by skating across Montana to raise $ & profile but broke my left heel @ Burnside (1st time in 3 years) yesterday so I might be done w/ skating period. Keep it up, you are an inspiration for many. Ive missed a couple of your episodes but I'll be watching them daily now. To quote an old guy band to you, REO Speedwagon, Keep pushing!
I came onto the trip around day 25 and you are such an inspiration this is so sick to witness I look forward to the uploads every day youre sick I hope nothin but safe travels
I struggle with sobriety and skating has always helped your awesome and inspiring bless up and fun travels
Whoa, I think you need some high vis, in the tree shadows you must be almost invisible to the cars until the last minute.
Skating with no or next to no shoulder on the roads is hectic! Enjoying the journey from Brisbane Australia. Keep Pushing ✌️
Skate rat from the 80's. Dude your awesome. Been watching every day.
Incredible journey my dude. Do us a favor and show us some more love with your morning and evening routine : ) Like a “full day in the life” kinda feel as you tackle the day/miles. Remember how awesome those were in 411? Sending high vibes from Phoenix.
Always perfect timing for my lunch break ❤
Roll Call. Hawai'i in the house. Looking forward to seeing you complete you journey.
You have made it sooo far!!! Absolutely amazing! Keep pushing, VA beach is just up ahead!!!
I don’t watch tv at all and watch this daily sooo - I’m gonna need something to watch when this is over 😂
keep going 🏁
Dude skating in his Charles Spurgeon shirt 🤣 LOVE IT! Love all these videos!
I left the USA for Mexico in 2018 and it’s been a very positive experience. The last 5 years up in the states has been a little wild and it often saddens me to see the country I loved kinda falling apart. But watching this journey reminds me that so much media bullshit is out there, and at the end of the day when you’re down to American to American interaction… it’s all love ❤️. Thanks Chad for reminding me of the great part of the USA… the people ✌🏽 from 🇲🇽 🏄🏼
Some great cow conversations in this one 🙏🏼
thats crazy how your knee is improving, i feel like ive been having the same issue with my right knee feeling weak after 25 odd years of skating, but just recently i got a bike and im trying to put in the miles to help improve my knee strength,
Man be careful. Your going into deliverance territory. If you hear banjo's...run Chad!
Conditioning is awesome! You go anywhere and not get sweaty, super casual. Thank you brofessor, covid is when I stopped drinking, drinking was my mask and made me feel safe. With God, he is all I need. I’ve never been authentically happy before. Woo!
Keep going Chad, loving your journey . You are a real inspiration.
Dude those cars at the end flying past on that two lane road! I was fully leaning over to the left watching that.
You need a T-shirt of you and a cow whith your catchphrase yo what’s up I would so definitely buy one
Damn, 2 weeks… oh man, I have been watching these videos since the beginning. What am I going to look forward to. Lol… oh here’s an idea. Skate back, yeah!!! Skate back. lol… just playing. lol. I’m sure you’re going to do something epic. 😁👍
Something about these videos is helping spur me forward
I haven’t skated in a few years but this past weekend I went out and just cruised on a road for about a mile or 2 and then back, wind was going against me until I turned and went back, man that was a work out on the legs! Couldn’t imagine doing such a big trip! Maybe a few years back I could but man I am just not conditioned anymore
Im hyped about those busted ass wheels still going!!!! I hope they make it all the way.
Good PUSH. At 46 I feel better the more I keep moving. Can't stop, won't 🛑.
Following you daily from Curaçao, Dutch Caribbean. Keep pushing dude. You’re almost there! 🤟🏻

Keep pushing brother! So amazing how far you've already come.
This man and journey is incredible! I am truly inspired and ready for an adventure of my own.
Deep Hack squats at the gym keep my knees strong, if I stop for awhile I notice it on stairs sometimes too
“Hopefully it’s chocolate” had me LOL. Gotta taste it to be sure. 😂. Dude, you are KILLIN’ it. Holy cow the tightness of those vehicles at the end. Keep your head up, don’t let your guard down, stay safe, keep pushing.
Man, that last bit of road looked super sketchy. Be safe, praying for traveling mercies for you.
Thank u for all u do. ❤

Really interesting what this kind of journey shows you about infrastructure development state to state: seems Texas has more rougher roads, Arkansas has good roads but dodgy power supply, Tennessee appears (given early evidence) to not be so into shoulders on their roads. Fascinating!
Nice work CC, welcome to TN, donation made, keep on truckin!
Very cool to see people stopping and checking if everything is OK, or you need any help. Keep pushing Chad!! Safe travels 🔥🔥🤘🤘❤️
Respect from a fellow skater !
