I was at a Florida practice when Haden was a freshman, and he immediately stood out. “That guy is a freshman?!” Athletic, smart player that long ago.

As a Steelers fan, I have nothing but respect for Tebow. When someone bests you fair and square in a competitive battle, it’s doesn’t matter what their skill is, they’ve earned your respect.

I never understood Tebow. He had one year as a starter, he took over a team that was 0-3 and got them into the playoffs and won a playoff game against the Steelers (my team) and then he never had a chance to start again. The idea is to win games, not look pretty throwing the ball. There were probably 5 teams who didn't win more than 6 games for the five years after Tebow who could have been in the playoffs with him.

I agree with you completely bro. Feel like he got blackballed from the league… Bill wanted to make him a TE in New England. And because Tim loved football and wanted a roster spot he tried making the transition

But he was never good enough to win it all. If you hover around 500 and get bounced from the playoffs every year its like football purgatory and you never get top draft picks.
