Karl is a gem but I always thought listening to Ricky and Steve they were snide, demeaning and derogatory. They know Karl didn’t have much education but constantly use it to take the piss out of him. Made me laugh out loud when Steve said foreign listeners would be be struggling with Karl’s accent - wondered if he’d ever heard himself and Ricky talking 🙄

I love Ricky's stand up, but I wouldn't listen to the show if it was just Ricky and Steve. That said, I also don't think Karl would be very entertaining on his own.

Karl's incredible ignorance and lack of common knowledge and information is what makes this funny. Stupid people are hilarious!!
Funny as f, but annoying when Ricky thinks he’s an intellectual and is left floundering. Example, he got the Churchill quote wrong.
It’s an”idiom” not a metaphor!!!!
