My grandmother saved eggshells for her garden and mixed them with dried coffee grounds, water, cow manure and a quart of ammonia letting it set over the winter in a barrel, adding egg shell and coffee grounds as she could from fall until spring when she would ladle it over the garden after the first frost and then wait until it soaked in a day or so. She would then set her plants and add more of the mixture near but not on the plant so as not to burn the roots but to make the roots spread out to seek the nutrients.

I also use the powdered shells to sprinkle through my compost., as well as when planting seedlings. I love the idea of the peas too. Greetings from Australia.

Desde Venezuela, la cáscara d huevo aunque triturado tardará mucho para que haga su efecto de que la planta lo absorba, es mejor disolver la cáscara con vinagre y se formata acetato de calcio y después colocarlo como fertilizante a la planta. Muy buen video, gracias...

I save my egg shells then put them in blender to emulsify and then store them in glass jars til time to use…

La cascara de huevo sus efectos lo aprovecharan las plantas que se siembren dentro de cuatro año aproximadamente, la única forma que las plantas asimile sus bondades es necesario que las cascaras sufran un proceso de conversión a sulfatos que es la forma más simple en que las plantas pueden asimilar los minerales y ello lo llevan a cabo los microorganismos descomponedores pero el proceso dura mucho, podemos ayudar a acelerar este proceso colocando las cascaras molidas en agua de limón, para que las convierta en una forma de sulfato y las plantas las asimile, hasta nosotros para consumir los minerales tiene que ser en sulfatos, sulfato de calcio, cobre, hierro, magnesio, etc.Gracias, un abrazo, cuidensen, saludos

Lepší spôsob využitia vápnika a sprievodných minerálov zo škrupiny bude,ak rok predtým budete pomrvené škrupiny pridávať do kompostu, ktorý použijete pri sadení paradajok, čím obohatíte ešte aj pôdu o humus a prieustnosť. 🙋🏻‍♂️🇸🇰

Probably the flowers are not getting pollinated. Just gently jiggle the flowers so the pollen falls down. I do this every time I walk by my tomato plants just to be sure their pollinated. Takes just a minute. I always have an abundant harvest. Good Luck 🤞
