Hey! I animated the special effects for NL3, and I'm surprised you didn't catch an easter egg I hid in J+K's beam shot. If you look closely, the white in the orb of JK's beam-point shimmers around the sphere where it spells "J" and "K" In the still-frame you have of their beam-clash, you can see the "J" portion of that loop!
