I am not surprise to hear about Whitney. All musicians who knew Whitney described her as being the same way, which is one of the reasons why she is my favorite artist of all time.

I still think it was a MAJOR mistake on her management's part to push her into doing a world tour... She wasn't prepared for it. She'd been sober for a while and had issues with her range. All she should have been told to do was to travel to promote the new cd. Instead, she embarked on a tour that was way out of her mental and physical possibilities at the time. To make matters worse, her ''fans'' were vile to her, especially in Australia, where the tour began. Telling the press she couldn't entertain a dead rat was unbelievably cruel on their part. I'm sure she had a breakdown in Paris, that's why her shows were cancelled... A talented lady. May she be in peace.

I don't know why, but I got really emotional with Kelly experience when meeting Whitney for the first time, she seemed to be a really sweet and supportive person.

Celebrities are humans and humans have their ups and downs, mood swings and happy moments. I am sure someone has met Boy George and didn't get an autograph , but equally I am sure he has been good to his fans. Don't forget, many celebs are great actors. They are nice and kind when it suits them. Most celebs are horrible in real life. Diana Ross is one example. Whenever she is photographed on the street doing her food shopping she looks miserable, on stage she is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. for obvious reasons.

My thing is this - you really can't tell how these mega-stars really are until you see them interacting with people who aren't famous. Anyone can put on a face when they're surrounded by their constituents, but how do they respond when they're surrounded by average working-class people?
