The 25 to Life comparisons are good, but this is even better. So much of the stuff about drugs is so literal/specifically about drugs and yet can still have meaning when thought about as a song about a woman.

Anyone going through any kind of drug problems, I can relate to this so much. I’m an alcoholic at 33 I’ve had 2 seizures from withdrawals this year so far. It’s crazy how on point he is!

I love how he just drops these slick ass doubles. Bro every bar in the song can be interpreted as a relationship with a female or his relationship with drugs. Darkness follows the same thing. The whole album is extremely calculated and trimmed nice and neat. I get so excited when Marshall drops new music. The discography of this man's work is astonishing. 🐐 [Final Copy]

Every line of this song can be interpreted as a love song for someone but at the same time interpreted as a love song for drugs in which it really is. but with the wordplay and double entendres Em does, it really works in this song the best.
