Ok, I can’t read another one. The “rifle” I’m refusing to use against the dude on the roof is a 9mm SMG. The shotgun had slugs, which whilst hard to use is much better to use in this scenario than 9mm. I needed potentially one or two hits to kill with it, not 6 with the 9mm. People telling me over and over again how dumb I am is a lot of fun when they don’t seem to understand the game themselves. I had no good gun, the shotgun with slugs was the best of a bad bunch. When people try to kill me, I try to kill them back, I very rarely run away even if I’m outgunned. It’s more fun to take the fight! A slugged shotgun at range witha 20+ inch barrell.....far more effective than a pistol cartridge from a 9-10 in barrell. You made the right call.

When you have a solid consistent squad there’s definitely victorious feel good moments that are W’s fs. Also the all time lows where you’re all killed in a active base defense & they get away in vehicles in a moment between fresh cycles. Beauty of the game, a lot like real life. A train wreck with short commercial breathers that make you forget

Took a long break from DayZ playing Tarkov and FF14 a ton. Nothing gets me more amped up than a firefight in DayZ. Going (sometimes) hours without seeing a single person and then hearing the snap and bang of a rifle far away makes makes my heart race more than anything. Tarkov jump scares me sometimes but it quickly goes away. You're expecting combat everywhere. You are in DayZ too but when you think you're safe in a remote part of the map there are probably people really close on a full pop server. It's the illusion of safety and the size of the map. A lot of things make firefights in DayZ so amazing. It has its bugs sure but you can experience some really crazy and awesome unique things that make everything worth it

(Not even a situation where you down a go, he goes conscious and goes "Hey, you won." type of deal, it's normally a "Crap, these fresh spawns I have been killing have cornered me into a spot I can't get out of!" and then they go all "Hey I'm friendly now!")

I KOS almost always unless the circumstance is unique or I am on the coast fully geared meeting a friend. I will avoid KOS'ing players then, cause well, that's trashy and toxic.

@@tdg710 It really just depends on the server I'm on. If I'm in an RP server then I tend to lean towards not KOSing.

I've got a good 900 hours in dayz(which is pretty miniscule compared to some of these chaps who really run it hard) but its ALWAYS worth it in the end for me, no matter how many times I bite the dust. Getting just one cheeky kill can make up for hours of rough runs. Good stuff man, love the message.

I'm going thru the same phase, Constant death after death lately. I was at a verge of giving up on dayz but you changed my mind. I'm not gonna give up. Thanks man!

Late comment but next time you're in a scenario like this you should try using the 12x70mm buckshot, i'm not that into dayz yet but if the ballistics are close to real life the buckshot will spread out but it should travel far enough to hit, the spread also allows you margin of error when aiming. Great video!

THis episode is a beast. Reminded me of Dragon ball Z when they fight Vegeta. Long pacing , lots of space, and deep drama. Villian on top of that rooftop really made you sweat. But fox is a fox and real predator prevails in the end. And you freakin outro theme landed in the best possible moment. Insane probably the best Dayz champ here.

A lot of the luck is who sees who first and how friendly they want to be. I am often friendly to single players but will attack multiples to improve my odds. Without knowing who they were, I was friendly to Lottie, Tope and M1nder and all in military bases and gave them weapons. I killed 10 in Novi Grad the other day because the first one I met, pissed me off.

It is surefire 100% impossible to please everybody all the time, as well. But of course you know that, no need for me to tell you, lol. Keep it up old son ;)

Ol' Paul still has situational awareness as ever. The fight still in him + skill (map knowledge as any may know). Just a shame Robert was the tm8... hahaa jk. *3:40 forward in that short bit of: "player across the road"; Tope is truly a great shot/coordinator of situational positioning. I happened to catch that live via the two separate stream's, (which I've never done prior). So thankful when TRMZ can edit. TRMZ is very, VRY engaged with his chat. That leads to loss of view on the pvp/situation. I appreciate the edited footage very much. Especially cutting what many steer clear of via YT: (twitch chat "bollocks"). All love and a hello from ghosts of the past.

Thanks for showing all those deaths at the beginning. DayZ is my favorite game but I no longer have a computer. I have Xbox One X and the controls are pretty difficult for me. I always get overly excited/nervous in PvP situations and usually end up dead. I watch all you youtubers have these awesome adventures and rarely die so it makes me think I'm totally trash. Nice to see it happens to the pros as well.

Thanks for getting back on Chernarus. As a console player it's a bit more relatable. I like the way you play, and a touch of mischief.

Great lesson in it, recently I got shot and knocked uncon by a duo both with ak47’s I thought about just logging for a second I was so mad but I realized I wasn’t dead immediately so I had a chance and I woke up, when I did I grabbed my m16 off of the ground and let loose forty 5.56 rounds on the two of them killing them both , I was able to bandage and take all I needed from their bodies, so patience even in small forms can make a big difference!

It may sound bad at first but i am so glad i found you later after your start cause i watch every single year of your videos now ( i found you a month ago) and i have never ending content to depend on and it is super relaxing with your voice and also very exciting! Thank you

I can really relate to what you where saying at the beginning about being patient and have persistence, I was on a server for a whole day one I hade been on for maybe 2 days, but that whole day was just being killed by this big faction, but I kept at it found some guys who where having the same problem with this group (I was solo at the time) but I’ve found some new friends and have gotten revenge on the kids who did it too us within 2 days after

videos are far more entertaining that playing most of the time anyway. especially when you are new to the game. you are running lost for hours not seeing anyone. to end up dying of hunger or breaking a leg

I had a life on DayZ where in Elektro I managed to melee a 3man team, they put me to flashing blood and I went uncon just around the corner from where I killed the last one. A dude came along while I was uncon (back when you could hear while KO'd) but didn't see me. I re-gened in a shed then made my way to Mogilevka where I met a more geared 3man team, killed 2 and was put back to flashing blood, KO'd in a bush and the third guy was running around really close but couldn't find me so I stayed there until I got back to red blood, went looking for him and he was just lying dead on the road beside his mates! No idea how he died but he was unlooted and no Zombies around. That was the most amazing life, I was gutted when I eventually died a day or two later.

play the game how you want to play it, if people dont like that you sometimes KOS, they can just watch someone else personaly i KOS quite alot but thats just because ive had so many experiences where ive been friendly and then as soon as i turn my back ive gotten shot or stabbed or whatever, so i just have trust issues in the game. good example was just a few days ago, i met a freshspawn, i had been gearing up for about 45 mins so i had some basic gear and a pistol and shotgun, the guy i met had nothing and was getting chased by zombies, i helped him kill the zombies, then we went in to a house and i asked him if he nedded anything, he said he was starving. i was feeling extra nice so i gave him 2 cans of food and some apples and an extra water bottle i had found, i also gave him a makarov i had found that had a few bullets, i then helped him get a backpack and we looted together for about 5 mins, then he asked me if i could get him some sticks. while i was cutting down a bush he pulled out the makarov i gave to him and shot me, i almoast got him back cuz i only passed out, but as soon as i started moving he put one in my head. thats just one of the things that has happend that makes me personally KOS alot.
