Everyone at Manchester United from the highest office to the lowest ranking in that organization need to apologise to Schweinsteiger for what they did, the way he was treated also portrays the nature of the club over all. no respect non whatsoever. This includes the new owners too

Schweinsteiger is one of the greats I remember he played out of his skin for Bayern in a Champions League final he was like the German Paul Scholes. It's a shame it never worked out at United, not in our name legend.

Over the past few years we have treated some players horribly, namely Schweinsteiger and Cavani: 2 players who were disregarded when they were so good and had so much to offer at the time

He was poor for man utd. His legs were gone and he struggled with the pace of the PL. However, there were worse players at the club when Mourinho came in and he was unfairly treated.

@gungrave10 well they had just qualified for the champions league in the season prior. He was brought as a player to help improve the side and take the club to the next level, but he did neither. He's still held in fairly high regards by the fans because of his professionalism while at the club. They have definitely made worse signings than Schweinsteger, but there's no getting away from the fact that he was poor at man utd

Utd should've given LvG time, his squad was cooking slowly and needed patience. Woodword was a rat for what he did!

I used to be a Man U fan but after that interview with Bastian I all in on City.

tbf, at every given time it is just a few 2 - 3 people who are responsible for such decisions and usually after a few years those are totally different people. Not United's fault, but definitely Mourinho's

I can't believe Mourinho treated Bastian the way he did. Schweini deserves an apology and not just from Jose, but from ManU as a whole as well. What a brilliant player.
