if you mean that you feel bad for him, i have to say that me too. if you mean that you feel bad for dib, please watch the series if you haven't watched it yet, bc there is a scene where zim looks at clips of ppl from that skool where people bullied him ;-;

The two lines that REALLY get me from this movie is "I'm sure it's there somewhere..." For what Zim soad and what Prof. Membrane siad "son, you don't have to prove anything to me. I'm already proud. " ;-; is it just me?

I can't blame the tallest. Zim is pretty recluse and a complete lunatic. But I agree that he isn't all that bad.

Zim really did win at the end of the movie though. Think about it, he found out his entire mission was a lie and spirals into depression. He then manically sets off his plan as soon as he see's an opportunity to prove himself. He tricks Dib outsmarting his nemesis (and the only person he has any fun with, who also happens to treat Zim seriously). He shoves Earth in the Tallest's faces, and knowing they wouldn't turn kills them with the florpus. When Dib asks if the florpus is apart of his plan, Zim just smiles manically hunch over and says "Probably". The computer knew what created the florpus, and Zim may be insane but he's pretty damn smart with technology when he puts his mind to it (he invented time travel, and threw a water balloon down to earth flattening a town, and made robotic eyes for keef that surgically connected to the boys brain seamlessly, etc). He probably knew exactly what would happen when he teleported the planted. So, by the end of the movie he had a lot of fun evil laughing and causing chaos (he was having such a good time), murdered the tallest who mocked him his entire life (revenge by deadly space anomaly and the Tallest own stupidity. Nobody stalks the Tallest and knows their behaviors more than Zim. The Tallest call him creepy for it in the original series) , continued his soulmates (but for fighting and monologuing) relationship with Dib, got a free puppy clown thing (he seemed to like it. And he didn't even care that the tallest were in agony why he showed it off to them. Cold), and flat out told Gir that they won this time.

And this why my headcanon of Zim actually liking being on planet earth because he could at least be listened by Dib because since the tallest won't hear him exists.

Now I feel really bad for Zim, he just wants to succeed in something that deep inside, he knows he has a small chance of actually achieving. He may be terrible to His entire race, but he is just so dedicated to his fake mission, no matter what. I just can't feel, but sadness towards this little guy, and he's like 5'0" tall and I'm 5'4"

I read a comment from one of the writers saying Zim is defective on purpose by a Vort virus designed to sabotage the Empire from within. Explains why he is so competent in anything besides things that help the Irken society. He is essentially the most important person in the universe. Just not for the reason he thinks.

I wish Zim found out how the tallest actually thought about him without his pride getting in the way and dismissing it. Then maybe he'd stop trying to destroy earth and just become a perminet inhabitant and try to live a somewhat normal (human) life

I don't even like the series(The art style creeps me out.) And After seeing all this AMVs I feel bad for Zim. He deserves better.

So I'm very new to IZ. Like, a week. I binged the entire series, watched the film, and was left in complete awe. I watch a lot of funny edits and memes of the show now but I haven't found anything like this. This is the best edit of the show I've ever seen.

Sad how they both have a little something in common. No one takes them seriously. From Dib’s father to Zim’s tallest. Dib understand his dad, but Zim is completely oblivious that his leaders abandoning him to die on a planet they didn’t even knew actually exists! Zim is so caught up on his own little world to please his leaders and get their acknowledgement and respect that he ignores all who plainly tell him that he is a reject that had to be dealt with. I’m surprised that Red and Purple still answer his calls. They could’ve made their point across not to answer or just plain out tell Zim that he’s not wanted anymore and that he’s a threat to their own race due to his crazy ambition
