That’s some good advice! I feel you on the cichlid pellets, something changed the last couple years? My fish just ignore the hikari now.

Hikari definitely has a lot of filler in it. I have a 3 regular blue acara and I’ve been giving them northfin cichlid pellets and frozen blood worms occasionally. They love the northfin food though and they are really starting to color up.

Good Advice. I only have a 2 tanks a 50g and 60g. 6 fancy goldfish total- for the past numerous yrs.

Sure, give that tank a good scrub and get another betta. I'm really enjoying my Mustard Gas Blue Betta. With the other tanks, check out the Apistos listed at the Cichlid Shack. Amazing looking fish that do great in a planted tank. After your kid finishes school and leaves, will you be moving tanks back in?

Your absolutely right 💯. Get what you can maintain……🐠. Or you could get overwhelmed …. I have 3 tanks a 150. 55. And 32. Gallon….. my work schedule is busy. And thts all time permits me to keep….. maybe when i retire. Ill get more tanks. Cus ill have more time

Don't fight the mts... embrace it. Im moving atm and by far the hardest thing I'm dealing with is moving my 12 aquariums. But couldn't imagine my life without them. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us my brother. My reward for moving all this crap, is setting up 3 more tanks when I get done moving... buahaha im a glutton for punishment
