Very Good explanation. I am driving the car more than 10 years. Now, I have learnt we should press the button when emergency braking. Last year I met with an minor accident due to brake failure. I suddenly raised hand brake without pressing the button, the car ran out of my control and hit the barricade. Here after, I will show this tricks to all my friends.

Hello sir..thank you very much for this information. Actually I am new driver and my hand brake locked. After seeing your video I went and unlocked it easily.

Your suggestion are really practical,. once the car is driven in rain or water logged area, later when you park your car never ever use hand brake, reason after some time due to water which causes rust the spring as you said gets jammed. So it would be difficult to disengage the hand brake. Your suggestions are 👍

Well explained bro. Emergency brake situation really helpful info. I will put the gear in perfect neutral and will not use handbrake that time and doesn't roll out. Still I use 1st level parking brake for 4 to 5 days in flat parking, but when I got some time to start in between that 5 days interval for battery longevity i will release hand brake that time. I will use both gear braking and hand brake only in slope.
