Pastor Jason McKinnies is the Senior Pastor of Purpose House Church in Herrin, Illinois. Purpose House Church started back in 1994 as Southern Illinois Worship Center. Pastor Jason and Melissa McKinnies assumed leadership in 2009 following the unexpected passing of the founding pastor. Since then, Purpose House Church has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from 92 to well over 2,500 in membership. Pastor Jason not only is dedicated to the thriving community of Purpose House Church but also serve on the board of directors of a nationally recognized bank. Bringing his expertise and leadership to the financial sector. Pastor Jason also sits on the Poverty Commission for the State of Illinois, passionately working toward alleviating poverty and improving the lives of those in need. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Pastor Jason has been happily married to Melissa for 24 years, and together they are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters.
