It could be the power brick.

I used 3 different power bricks on the bottom one and it did the same thing. As for the one on top, it had code 0110 which is a faulty RAM chip. The one on bottom has one to a few bad capacitors.

The bottom one fan didn’t even pop on Like that’s crazy

If the thing 2 cotton swabs is showing red lights after so lights then l recommend you take it to be fixed because that is a ball inside the vídeogame that is no stuck to the working part of the video game

I've had that same problem with a Jasper, but it was actually worse because the console would instantly shut off and give the brick a red light. I think the issue that some of these consoles have is that while the black and silver caps are good and reliable, the green ones have a tendency to go bad. Without opening the console though, it's impossible to know which type the Xbox has, whether you get a cheap $20 "Untested" one, or you shell out $90 for a tested one.

As for the top Falcon, that one seems to be an early model before the fixed high tg "Rhea" came out, you might be screwed on that one unless you have a spare GPU laying around.

Maybe the boards were swapped and these are actually later revisions of falcon. I don't think the Jasper revision can red ring.

yes it can, happened to me both 1 ring and 3 rings, although minor problems it still can red ring, its just that microsoft made it super hard to kill it

@@zesped1259Jasper models revised the ATI gpu whit one that works and last longer, older xbox like the falcon and base ones have gpu problem known as red rings of death just like the first ever model of the ps3 up to cech-2001 ps3. they also have that gpu problem whit the nvidia RSX giving the yellow light of death. Best models are jasper, xbox slim and elite the slim and elite docent have gpu and cpu only one processor known as a APU.

Jasper's can Red ring but it's a "Fake" Red ring of sorts its caused by faulty Sanyo Capacitors on the motherboard and is fixable

@@lukedavis436 Right. The Jasper's SOCs are so efficient that the system could run the prolonged periods with out a fan and still be fine once you plug the fan back in. Your lucky i brought a untested console that someone legitimately broke the hdmi by twisting stuff and the power bit all the plastic broken like the stick a knife in there and went to town on the two ports 😂

Yep, at least with Goodwill, if they’re labeled untested, they actually are untested. But eBay be like f that shit lol

First console has a short, likely bad capacitor, 2nd console has bad gpu due to it being a flawed gpu unit. Capacitor is an easy enough fix. Hope this clears it up for you

Thanks, I appreciate the help! Yeah, at least the disc drive on the falcon unit is salvageable as well as the button contact. I’ll use those parts on the Jasper unit, which is the first one.

@@XboxConnoisseur994 not salvageable. The dvd drives are locked specific to the console. You’d need to decrypt the nand by doing rgh to get the dvd key off it. Cosmetic parts are of course salvageable tho i guess

your problem was buying those in the first place. those consoles are junk, i know because i had to send my 360 to get fixed 5 times, microsoft got sued for their $hitty consoles. you should look into getting a slim e 360

Yeah. Thankfully my personal console is an Xbox 360 Slim that I got 7 years ago. Still works like a charm. I recently upgraded to an Xbox 360 E, but I’m keeping the Slim as a backup.

Late model Falcons, and Jasper units are pretty much tanks. They get hate because of their reputation. Avoid Xenon/Zephyr and some early Falcons.
