​@@onedude1389 Hi. Buy your pasta and preheat water so it is boiling. Add thick salt and cover the bottom of the container LIGHTLY (with a little spacing between each grain of thick salt). Then, put the pasta in and stir them. When done, read the instructions and see how much time you need to let them cook. Put the lid back on and STOP THE FIRE, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT (If you don't stop the fire the water will bubble and moss and it will make a huge mess). After the timer is done, strain the pasta. Done. With the salt you put in the pot you shouldn't need seasoning but i still recommend adding some for the taste. Pasta goes with many things. I recommend also putting a bit of butter and mixing the pasta.

I’ve seen an Italian family also break their pasta in half while cooking. Since I was waiting in a line. They did it, Twice. And they were cooking for teenagers at a high school pot luck. But they had a home made red sauce that tasted better than any restaurant I’ve had. I miss those giant pot lucks. Tons of family’s and kids would Cook fresh foods and there was always something new to try. I miss it so much.

I have italian blood, and I'm certain some of my ancestors have died again every time I've cut spaghetti in half

Had an Italian cousin who came to visit a few years back and, out of mindlessness, i broke the pasta to put them in the pot easier. He saw i did that. We haven't heard anything from him since then. But sometimes, in the dark, i could have sworn i saw his figure, standing across the street, staring at my window. But I'm sure it was just my brain playing tricks on me.

My mom breaks the spaghetti noodles and it hurts my heart but I don’t say anything because that’s just how she does it but when I make spaghetti I don’t I just like it better like that but then again I’m not Italian but I am Hispanic
