I remember opening things like this during my college days. Because yes I was old enough to be in college during the original GX formats. They'll actually worth picking up back then especially if you didn't have a local game store didn't want to buy things online. As you could still pick up a few decent things from them and sometimes it was a bit harder to get certain booster packs in if the places that were around you did not want to restock them

i don't think i have ever seen special edition nor any of these 3rd party blisters/boxes that aren't just a random bunch of cards. I love watching these videos just to see what new products you get to open.

Ah I love to see the old repackage packs. There was something magical about not knowing what promos and special cards popped up in those. Simpler times before MJ holdings soured us forever by repackaging a handful of .01c modern bulk as "rare cards" and selling it for $20.

i got a 2007 wave 2 set of all 3 tins a while back from woolworths uk closing down sales got 2 ultimate rares from them sage of silence plus that one high level normal sea serpent card only cost me £4.50 for the 3 tins
