Did you complete the testing procedure, with electrical test equipment? "Tape and join" is the easiest and shortest method to join the wires. Any load calculations, and therefore breaker selection were done prior to energising the house? What Earth resistance values were obtained? Etc. There are so many aspects to wiring any residential units. It would be advisable to obtain genuine certification from a qualified Electrical Engineer. Congratulations on your house project.
