FAST stands for Facial droop. Arm that drifts. Speech impairment. And Time-because your don't have much before the damage is permanent or too late to treat.
I ride on an ambulance and have taken lots of classes over the years....seriously I wish you were my teacher....you sum it all up so fast and your right to the point. Thanks for your videos, I look forward to watching them all....bless you...
You are awesome at what you do! I have NCLEX in less than 32 hrs and I just wanted to say that i learned more from you than kaplan course! and that too for FREE....can't beat that, can we? :D Keep up the good work! :)
I've had a 3h class on this yesterday, and I learned more with you in 18 minutes! Awesome video, thank you so much :)
you're an angel. thank you for helping me understand any concept.
Clear, brief, and comprehensive! Thanks
I took notes on how you presented the information (while keeping it interesting) and am using it to develop my own presentation for a project at my school. I hope you don’t mind. Your lecture style retains the viewers attention really well, it’s awesome!

You are right. This is poorly done. People in here should NOT get their information from him.

I felt it a little too dumbed down. I appreciate his effort though.
How did I end up here? Anyway was interesting
I suffered an ischemic stroke back in September (2022). I love this video, Mike. Would you allow me to use it in a YT doc I am making, regarding my experience? I will credit you, for sure. Please let me know. TY Dylan =)

Hemipoiesis????? Youre saying that weakness on one side of the body is called hemipoiesis? Please review your med terminology.... you have students that depend on you as a resource.

Try HEMIPARESIS.....inexcusable terminology mistake, kind of a VERY important term when discussing Stroke/TIAs.....c'mon dude, do better.

Oh...and you got the acronym FAST wrong...it's: Facial drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties and Time to call emergency services...A is for ARM not "affect"....c'mon dude, do better.

Hater! Make your own videos! Hopefully the students that "depend" on him are enrolled in a credible Nursing program and know the proper usage of the terminology by now!? Especially when referring to a CVA... he should not be their only resource ! Although he is pretty awesome!!😍😍
This is like Amateur Night at the Apollo! Very poorly presented. The editors of this site should vet these videos better.
