It's nice to be able to reach tunings like Dropped B without having to decalibrate the guitar.

My guitar is setup for playing in drop B, so it’s nice to be able to get to standard using this for thrash haha. Great feature both ways. I used to try a bunch of different external plugins that don’t do as good of a job.

Exactly and sometimes I like to just try things out in different tunings. It's great to be able to just turn a knob now.

That's very true also. My baritone is in Drop F#. Nice to be able just tune up real quick and try something out.

I didn't notice any in standalone or mixing. Maybe a computer power issue with some people

Hell yeah! I am amongst many who give this company a lot of shit for not releasing more updates before new products. But once that team delivers, they always kill! Can’t wait to use the new doubler and transpose. Hate tuning my stuff back and forth. Great review!

Exactly. I like to be able to try out different tunings without having to constantly tune my guitar. This makes it so easy. Especially in an ampsim I already love!!

No problem and thanks for watching. I think this is now a complete amp sim. Those few new features is what was missing for me in the original. Although I do love the Bogren Digital MLC subzero.

How does the transpose do live with latency and feel? I play covers so this would be convenient.

If it's like any of the other plug-ins then it's definitely one of the best feeling out there. I use it all the time just playing along to different stuff

The best plugins for metal. Especially with the guitar detuning and dubbing functions

I know right. I haven't been the biggest fan of some of the newer releases but updating the really good ones to X is great.

We´ve used this since it came out. It replaced my Splawn, Whammy & Boss Harmonist for recording.

You should have received an email, if not go to the downloads page at neural dsp and download the Gojira X and install and Boom.

Just input midi expression pedal on Amazon. They have a few cheap options if you have a midi keyboard with an expression pedal input

If you already used your trial on the old Gojira, you can't use it for this one which reaaally bummed me out. Might have to wait for payday lol

Not true I have trialed the old version, and now I'm trying the X version using the same ilok account on the same computer. try contacting Neural Dsp and ask for a trial extension.

I had to turn up this new version to 9 o'clock just to match original presets, this sim has less headroom, volume, and dont bother mentioning this on any forum of neural dsp, they F'N ERASE THEM!

@@ppang not the same, if you liked Gojira sim before and want to AB, open both stand alone at the same time, AB via volumes while screen recording, just look at how much more headroom the legacy has, it ws louder, clear or basically sonically more defined like the real amp then the version X of death..you will notice straight off that all the same exact presets the legacy shipped with open in Version X but the volume is like at 8-9!!!! and its still not as loud!, thats chucked up man... So I read all kinds of complaints about this, like they integrated features with Pelini, and its identical with the features, not the GOJIRA, its petruci or something else.., I wish they fix this cause all my own custom presets are screwed, let alone people complaining that the new version cant see the custom IR paths.. Neural DSP already has enough problems on their hands with preset menus, if you tweak any of the ones that shipped to your own it will save it in a name you pick but every time you open it the original name pops back up int he sim menu.., how can you trust any go this to buy a cortex!

Neural support have explained that the reason X shows up at +8 dB output on your presets etc is because it's compensating for the extra headroom they worked into it due to the Quad cortex compatibility factor. Also it's true that you will need to reassign your IRs to each of your user presets which is a b#t@h to do. But I went ahead a did it. Sounds all good after some testing to me.
