I still wonder why SHE didn’t win? Better chestvoice, more developed whole voice, better coloratura and a true mezzo. This voice can sing trouser mezzo roles, lyric mezzo roles and I think it can develop into a spinto mezzo in the future and sing Carmen, Eboli, Adalgisa and if we don’t watch out she can sing Venus, Brangäne, Fricka, Cassandra, Waltraute, Eboli and God knows what else... Now I would like to hear her as Octavian and The Composer and some more trouser mezzo roles.

It doesn’t matter if she doesn’t win. What matters is that she establishes a career and be successful. I love her voice. Hope she doesn’t force to do a isa beyond her range and artistry.

@@drefesou8912 „absent of chest voice“?? „weak middle register“ ??? My ears hear a stunningly beautiful, powerful, rich voice in high coloratour and chest voice- her voice range is incredible. And my eyes see an amazing young and talented woman ✨💎✨. Can‘t wait to see her live on stage!

She could be great! But her high notes are siren-like (very slow and wide vibrsto) caused by tensions (see how she pulls her chin towards her chest and how clenched her jaw is) that are a result of her artificially darkening her voice to sond more like a mezzo. I hope she finds a better teacher that can unlock the glorious soprano voice that's waiting behind all those tensions.

Where is the chest voice? In this aria mezzo-soprano is necessary. The sound is poorly equalized, the piano sounds louder than the voice. This singer is a beginner because she still needs to learn to work the low register of her voice as the main objective, then she must work the treble and stabilize the center of her voice (there are problems with her vibrato)

No, the norm seems to be for underdeveloped sopranos to pose as mezzo's by darkening their voices with tensions of the jaw, throat, neck and tongue.

Good voice but she is really a soprano. Needs to work with a good teacher.
