In these series of videos David Bombal, CCIE and Chuck Black, Developer discuss the future of networking. SDN, Network automation, network programmability, APIs, NETCONF, REST APIs and lots of other technologies!
Will developers take jobs from networking engineers? Who has the advantage - networkers or developers? Do networking engineers need to become programmers? Will networks become agile? What is P4? What are intent based networks? What is a Yang Model.
Chuck Black shares his wisdom with us!
Learn from someone who wrote SDN code. Who wrote SDN books. Who understands how SDN code actually works.

Thanks David
Thanks for covering the question I always have in my mind regarding the advantage of programmers learning networking v/s networkers learning programming.
Thanks, for the video! It has been helpful in getting a good understanding of the differences of network engineering and software engineering. I think that there were some very good points made and it has supported my idea that the networking aspect is where I want to be!!
this was very beneficial thank you so much
Great Information - TY
Great discussion for the future of networking. Mr.David. I just saw there are a lot of new models to learn for now. waiting for the idea from you. how must networker learn which technology for future? Thanks.
Good stuff, thanks!
Very good!!!
I've studied : software developer (3 years License) and now Master in network security (for 2 years) => Network = lot of tools and commands , dev = lot of code

Hi, 1. I like to know which SDN technology is more flexible. irrespective of complexity in learning. @Chuck 2. What would be the hardware consideration to migrate from legacy to SDN infrastructure (with the minimal cost) @David
love u both
helpfull :)
Hi David, interesting talks. Can we say SDN is intent based networking ?
Can I get anytype of contact infor for Mr.Chuck?, I need to ask something about my Capstone, which is based on Intent-Based Networking
