It seems like everyone that was around the EDM scene from 2009-2012 had the best times of their lives. I know I truly did. Going to outdoor shows all summer and warehouse party's all winter. When everyone fell in love with dubstep. I will always be a fan of DnB and Dubstep from 2009-2012. It will always have a special place in my heart. I rarely listen to newwer tracks nowadays. I'm stuck in 8 years ago. Such good times. Man o man.

Yeah, BBC and Byrd's weird fetish for jungle nuked this scene, netsky got fisted by sony into making crappy commercial-appeal songs, and liquicity has devolved into "random nameless vocal girl chimes in one tone over unoriginal tracks for the 50th time". I just want 2008-2009 back.

I am 54, and this song is what I wake up to every morning and it is the PERFECT way to start the day. It's been that way for 10 years and it never gets old. In bed. in the car. Cleaning the house. +Macha Mocha I'd say that there was a DnB renaissance which started in the early 2010's. In the late 90's drum and bass was also very, very popular at least here in Europe. This renaissance led new artists and subgenres to rise in popularity. Not sure if dnb is that popular anymore as I'm writing this, though.

It was a good time, still lots of good stuff coming out. In the 90's it was going strong, I remember Jungle music being a big hit. It will come back round as its such a smooth genre to listen to I find!

Now 19, remember as a kid in the backseat during so many long drives at night would just be mesmerized by the sound of this song and the highway lights pass by. Time and memories is just a crazy phenomenon of life man.

I used to listen to this song when i was 17 and i am 29 now, It brings back wholesome memories dancing all night long with friends and family! Love this song is just amazing

Nostalgia overload.

***** No they are ok and all but this is what started everything and this is nostalgia to me there for it is the best. Its old school no one makes this kind of music anymore. Its like comparing old school rock to modern rock, you can't.

+rndm I remember I was so in to Netsky at the age of like 12/13 in 2011 due to a friend of mine showing me 'Prisma' and that just led me to check everything he's ever produced out and I can vouch with what you're saying. His productions released as singles prior to his debut album such as 'Starlight', 'Tomorrow's Another Day' and 'Everyday' contain so many happy memories for me, as it is what effectively enticed me with the electronic music scene. His debut album was standard in my eyes, had a few tracks I loved, however also contained some I wasn't really into, which is what eventually led into his new sound, however 'Mellow' is one of my favourite tracks ever released by him!

***** It's not even that. People miss use sell out to much and don't use it well. He still makes music that he enjoys and found an audience for it. Also, DnB standards have risen and songs like this are no longer considered label worthy compared to other more complex tracks. It,'so a shame and we must move on.

***** Selling out would imply that he makes music simply to get as much money as possible, which is simply not true. So while he may earn more than he used to that doesn't mean he's a sellout. Besides why would he make such simlar music for years on end?
