I have a idea for a Scorpion game. What if it’s about him becoming the Elder Gods champion like in Deception. So his mission is to kill Onaga. So he could travel through Outworld and the other Realms. Like how Kratos goes to the Nine Realms in God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. He could also interact with other kharacters like the Special Forces, Umgadi or even the Lin Kuei themselves. To collect different items to defeat Onaga, maybe by going through him like in his Deception ending.

knowing these people they probaly won't do that. They will most likely set it around the og trilogy era to keep it 'classic' for like the millionth time. But I hope we do get something 3D era related

​@@aryelrosa4829I think the mantle is a good idea for this timeline. Hanzo does exist in this timeline, kuai Liang looks after him. I assume kuai Liang will eventually die, killed by sub zero, and Hanzo will become the next scorpion in this timeline and will want to avenge kuai Liang's death.

We all know it....Scorpion's the best :)..Scorpion's Revenge is an awesome film everyone wants Scorpion in that Multiversus game in MKX and 11 Scorpion was the highlight of the marketing and Ed Boone has stated many time Scorpion is his favorite character, he was always on the gamer cover until MK1 tried to retcom him.

They said back when mythology was released, there was going to be a second one about scorpion. It may be the right time to revive the Mythology on his orgin. It would be sick if they do that with mythology if you preorder the game a sick bonus would be the sub-zero mythology game as well.

They really need to get back to their roots with a possible Scorpion spin-off adventure game. I think Ghost of Tsushima is such a perfect reference for what the game should present as and feel like. I personally would love to see it be a revival of MK Mythologies.

Hanzo, Shujinko and The Great Kunglao trio action adventure game would be sick. And make then all playable

Gameplay wise, i could imagine it being like devil may cry but you play as scorpion instead, I couldn't imagine a MK character action game without stylish combos.

Sub zero’s my favorite MK character, but have we all already forgotten the last time when he got a solo game 😬😰

That game was horrible. I remember when I got it on n64 it was a train wreck. One change that would've made it better was that if an enemy was near you'd turn towards them automatically

It's a Scorpion game, of course. Lunatic Boon just can't handle the fact that Sub-Zero has his own game, while his favorite doesn't. So, expect lore altering story which will further establish Scorpion as the baddest of them all. With Boon at the helm, you always know exactly what to expect from every new MK title: Scorpion dominating every fight in story mode and Sub-Zero portrayed as jobber at best. Also, bet your money Sub-Zero would be the bottom tier.

I would be super down for a Scorpion game... Gotta have the cyber lin kuei in it, too.. I could see it being perfect for fighting a lot of cyber ninjas and pulling off crazy combos.. Sub Zero should be a boss. Sektor should be a boss.. I have more, but I feel like this is so interesting that I don't even want to possibly spoil myself.. But like someone else said, I just saw their comment, Quan Chi definitely should be the final boss.

I know it's definitely not gonna happen, but Kotal Kahn had so much potential that was wasted in MK11 and if he got a God of War style action adventure game that portrays his ascension through the ranks of his culture in the new timeline, I'd be more than happy. I do agree that a Scorpion game in the vein of Ghost of Tsushima would be amazing.

With how terrible MK1 turned out to be, just jump ship and go for the next thing. They are starting to repeat the same mistakes they did when they started the 3D era. They always try to change their formula for no reason at all. MK9 was awesome, MKX was amazingly fun to play AND watch. MK11 was a downgrade though still good. They should have kept the MKX formula and build upon it.

I thought it should Erron Black who gets a solo spinoff game

It may be Injustice because they have to clean the mess that Rocksteady did.

I mean.. they may do whatever you've said but hear me out.. the story of scorpion getting his revenge on sub is good but we are sick of repeating everything so, if we get a story about little hanzo and how he becomes the scorpion we all know and love would be a better one🤷‍♀️

Maybe NRS or WB should lend the licence, hire another studio that can make 3D combat/adventure games, or have an NRS exec supervising the combat part of it ... and we could have a complete MK like Ghost of Tsushima or Shaolin Monks obviously. I think the huge majority of players buy the MK to play the story mode once or twice and don't dare to set a foot online, so it would sell like hot cakes if they had a one player game telling these adventures. And NRS would be free to continue making the next MK ... MK2 ( or will we go back to MK13 ?? )

This new adventure game should definitely be open world with side quests, like Deception. They could also use the Koins for cosmetics, weapons, weapon upgrades, skill upgrades, learning new techniques, food regen etc. ( kinda like the Yakuza games ) Could it be as grand as Shaolin Monks? Only if NRS play their cards right. This is a tall order we're talking about.

@@Witness089 Mortal Kombat has always been notoriously difficult. Their first arcade cabinets had algorithms that made it impossible to win without feeding it more coins. Their adventure games weren't ever as popular though. From Software makes games with gothic imagery and has the history to back up an adventure game from Nether Realm Studios. It's a good match to me. I always thought it would be fun to play as Hanzo fighting his way out of Hell, but these adventure games usually develop lore more than focus on a gimmick like that.

I just noticed, kuai liang and quan chi haven’t even started their rivalry. We already got the scorpion vs sub zero story remade but nothing with scorpion vs quan chi, with that being said I think Bi Han has replaced quan chi as Scorpions arch nemesis now I know scorpion vs sub zero has already been a thing for decades but mk9 started the rivalry with quan killing harumi and the shirai Ryu while disguised as sub zero aka bi Han. According to the mk1 aftermath leaks (Possible spoiler) it starts with Kuai Liangs wedding and bi Han crashes it, if bi Han murders harumi how will quan chi fit into the rivalry arc ?

Yeah but story is already seen. Through multiple media sources. Playing a new game to see what you already know will never make a good enough story. I would rather them make a point in story we don't know.. Sub zero mythologies was dear to me. I loved it bunch even with all it's flaws. But there is the first time i saw shinnok and quan chi in a meaningful story.

It should be more like a Ninja Gaiden style game (given how The Shirai Ryu are actually ninjas and not just mere assassins like the Lin Kuei. I can see Hanzo going on covert missions with his clan and also his true skills as a ninja need to be explored more. Like when have we seen Hanzo do some wall climbing and wall running?

Scorpion action adventure game seems like an interesting idea, but also would have also wish to have a Kitana action adventure game, like maybe retelling the loss of Edenia, acting of having vengeance or justice on Shao Kahn.

I’d say that scorpion & Sub Zero are the face of MK and Liu Kang is the hero. They need to make a scorpion/Hanzo and Sub Zero/Kuai Liang co-op game like they were already planning.

Man it would be really cool to do a Mythology series like Sub Zero's game back in the day. Platformer or not.

Imagine how cool it would be to be playing as Hanzo while your village is under attack and you trying to get to your home to save your wife and kid while killing Lin Kuei ninjas on the way

MK1 was rushed, it’s still trash almost a year later and NRS is more worried about selling dragon Krystal’s than actually making the game enjoyable. After spending $120 on glorified early access game, I’ll never buy another NRS game ever again.

But didn’t the creator Say in a interview along time ago that he wouldn’t make scorpion the main character in a game because he think people will think he’s being biased or because he didn’t want to be biased because scorpion is his favorite character? . I mean things can change tho . But yea they definitely should make a scorpion game the creator of mk probable been holding that in for the longest lol

I am okay with Kuai Liang being Scorpion. Hanzo's family has died a thousand times. Let him rest... although I am not sure why they made him a child and had KL take his wife. Liu Kang bogus for that one. LOL. 😂
