    When I read the interviews I wasn't even concerned. People take these things and overexaggerate it. Like taking something from animation and making it live action isn't going to be the same completely. They have to adapt it so it isn't super awkward. This is all normal! it's not "ruining" the series and I was kind of annoyed to see how toxic people got over such a non-issue.

    no you people just under react, you dont give a shit you have no respect for the source material. Why even make a LA if you're gonna change characters and put your own little tourist twist on it. Unlike comic books that have many different stories this just doesnt work for a story that doesnt have much to work with. You simply dont have any passion or soul for these ip's we fans grew up with.

    @@sirducksworthythe3rd842 but you know the original creators never likes to do the same things twice and even though the report say that that’s the reason why they left it’s just blatantly kinda not true because they just don’t like to do the same things twice. It happens a lot in the movie business like jurassic Park wasn’t one scale with the book because they changed the stuff ready player one wasn’t one one scale with the book transformers weren’t one-to-one the same every single time they were always different from Michael Bay, Travis Knight, and Steve Capel, Junior, even the characters from those franchises were different from bays version Optimus prime to knights, and Capel‘s version of prime from the G1 counterpart, they were all different. They are not the same and Harry Potter. The movies were not one exact copies of the book like half blood Prince wasn’t the same as book to movie. Deathly hollows wasn’t booked to movie as well so Directors or creators who created the movies and all that they weren’t always gonna be scaled to one to one with the movies or the books because they don’t know how the translate that into the into live action for that heck even what are the noticeable characters of all time I would say Iron Man play by Robert Downey Junior is he the same in the comics then he is in the marvel cinematic universe no they changed him a lot from his counterpart in the comics that’s why from shows nowadays you see that version of Tony Stark instead of the comic version of being a heavy drinker cause it’s different, but you still recognize who he is like movie Studios will never be one to one re-create, the same exact things from translate from transitioning book to film. They will have to change stuff and transitioning cartoon movie. They have to change stuff, but at the end of the day he still recognize that character as that character, even though they may have have been changed a little bit from their animation, counterpart to film, counterpart, or two book counterpart, two film, counterpart, or even gain counterpart to film counterpart you still will recognize them as that character and I say this, I don’t know how anybody is gonna feel for the new avatar series, but I don’t listen to sources that won’t really help the case a lot that they don’t know what they’re saying or have full truth or full lies or full rumors to say on them matter that’s why I would go in with without any of this controversy going on and look at it as this judge for yourself and see. And I add this one last example, even though this has been long enough, Godzilla wasn’t the same all the time as well they always switch the character around for him as well from in Japan so he’ll still be relevant, and when he comes into the screens, Godzilla from Tahoe was always versatile now because he wasn’t the exact same for the last 70 years that’s how he still stood on top to this day for these past few years for that directors and writers always change. Godzilla kept his subliminal message in there to know what’s going on even adding new message in there, so that’s why Godzilla has still been around and hasn’t faltered or hasn’t been in the back road for years. He’s always still staying in the front for the longest time. And I’m sorry I went long on this I know I could’ve made a Sherpa once I start talking I don’t know when to stop well all I’m gonna say is you have a great day and great Super Bowl weekend if you watch football Have a great day though and a great week and the rest of February ciao

    Why are you blaming anti woke people? People are upset they removed Sokka's sexism where he later gets his ass kicked by a female and humbled. It was also a part of his character growth. Based on what you probably think anti woke people are like why would they be against that? People who loved the show are bothered by it not just """anti-woke""" Anti-woke people are obnoxious, woke people are obnoxious, however you people who accuse groups of being the sole cause of things are just as bad, or forcibly lump people together just because they don't agree with you opinion. That's a weird mentality.

  • @AmericanIlluminati

    @AmericanIlluminati

    @@namename2040 Because, it was the anti-woke KZreadrs who first reported on it & spun into being this super big deal, without even seeing the show first. Do I really have to explain this? We don't know exactly what has been cut, and if it really effects the show all that much. All we know 2-3 sentences of commentary from a handful of tweets & the whole internet is like, "Oh that's it, it's gonna be garbage. Why do they keep messing with our shows, why can't they just make their own?" (The 'they' in that situation being the woke left.) So, I'm not the one with weird mentality here. I live in reality & I am capable of calling BS where I see. Also, I'm a Millennial. I actually grew up on Avatar, on nickelodeon, as a kid. Unlike 70% of the internet who's just now going back to rewatch the show years after the fact. I saw the live action movie in theaters when it released. You don't have tell me about being attached to the show & wanting it done right.

    @@AmericanIlluminati The weird mentality comes from your obsession with "anti-woke" people. I agree they are annoying people. But to blame them for the backlash the show is receiving is absurd. This show definitely leaned more progressive for it's time to sit and think this massive backlash is being lead by "anti-woke" people is absurd. Let's look at the sexism thing. People are complaining about direct quotes from creators and actors of this show. Whether the quotes should be taking literally or not doesn't matter they come off horribly either way. They are toning down the sexism because it was too ""SEXIST""? This same sexism they lead Sokka to be humbled and change as a character and develop. Who is the only group of people who would think to do this without understanding the context and relevance of it to the show? You don't have to be anti-woke to blame them or think they had a hand in it, but not even everyone is blaming them to begin with. There is also nothing wrong with judging the show with comments from people literally in the show or from people making the show. Like a recent quote about them removing the war in ba sing se because he wants people to enjoy the city and becuase it seemed gaslighty?? Really? "Oh no people are taking them for their word and getting upset with them!" as if it's not warranted. Being excited for a new show and being greatly concerned to thinking it's bad are both valid things to feel for a show. You are merely upset about the ladder because you want it to be good. I didn't go see last airbender because the trailers looked bad and Dragon ball evolution was garbage. Pretty sure my skepticism was valid there.

    @@Tamashikusho they're really mostly fanfic, when you get down to it. Talking about Avatar itself, no one knows that world better than the creators. They've made decisions on the sequel, Korra, that i disagree with but accept as canon exactly because that is their world, to change and adjust as they see fit. They are flawed individuals, that certainly make mistakes sometimes, but worlds in fiction shouldn't be handled by too many outside hands, because it will be seen as a mere product for most of them, created to make money first and foremost, and not a piece of art that exists to tell a story.

    The live action lion king was an exact copy of the animation and people disliked it because they’ve seen it before. The CGI and singing was amazing and would have performed much better if the cartoon didn’t exist but since it’s shot for shot unless you never saw the original you’re gonna find it boring because you know everything. As long as it’s mostly faithful to the lore, source material and keep the most iconic characters, scenes and lines that made the original great then it’s perfectly fine to change a little dialogue here and there and explore things that where vaguely discussed in the original or clear up confusing moments. People need a reason to keep watching and are less likely to do that when they know the whole plot. If their story and acting is good then why does it matter. Just sit back and give it a chance. I love Avatar as much as the next guy but I want to be surprised
