The sad part is that I feel like Netflix wastes money on unimportant things. As much as the Russo brothers thriller film with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans sounds great, I see no reason to spend 200-250 million dollars on it (the budget of a MCU film). Netflix spends too much on stars and not enough on "blockbuster content". Where's their Narnia show that they announced a few years ago? The Avatar show might not happen now that the showrunners of the original show left.

@@Zaacdrums Yes, but those movies were greenlit (and 2 of them were made) before Disney completely bought Fox, so they have no reason to cancel the first two movies. And Avatar was the #1 movie at the non-adjusted-for-inflation box office, so it makes financial sense to make sequels (even if they earn "just" a billion each).

The film might have been made elsewhere, but Netflix paid to host the film, disregarded all the backlash once the announcement was made, put what amounts to softcore kiddie porn on the internet and continued to double down that this film was deep, artistic and all that rubbish. Given the number of movies and shows that Netflix has removed or censored over the years, I can totally blame them for choosing to support Cuties. Also, the message that children twerking and flashing their bare chests is bad doesn't really fly when you show those exact things with party music and pornographic close ups off prepubescent asses.

That is true and it just hurts me to be called a cult member by other people and thinking that all Disney is perfect. I’m a fan of Disney, but not everything they put out was perfect. Warp Zone always been my favourites. I am glad they didn't drop the ball like others did.

@@ericstorm6582 I think that Disney+ and Netflix both have their positives and negatives. If you want to see a lot of new stuff, then Disney+ isn't gonna be that interesting. But if you're looking for a cheap way to watch all the movies from your childhood again and again, then Disney+ is very interesting. That's why I have both.

Santa Clarita Diet was one of the best of Netflix, of course it was not going to win many awards, but it had a soul and a heart, not like the Disney live action remakes or those thousands of Marvel series and movies announced for the next 70 years. (I'm exaggerating of course.)

This feels like that episode of the boys where homelander created supe terrorist so they can take them out and be on top

They modded melee so it could be online, and Nintendo was very upset and told them they no longer had permission to use melee or smash, and a lot of smash fans are very upset about it

Well I mean Disney don’t have the rights to Skylanders, so they wouldn’t have the power to cancel that series

I like how when Mr Richards says he has complete control on Disney + the whole office just gets clean

now for a part 3 about Disney promoting the Netflix characters on movies (which gave theatres pre-quarantine numbers) and their own streaming shows, making the Netflix shows popular again, just to take them away a couple of months later to put them on whatever adult Disney streaming service runs on your country, Hulu, Star+, Star on Disney+, that will be a fun video

Disney is only involved in the entertainment industry and well, they're clearly affected by the pandemic and losing tons of revenue..... AT&T however isn't that much affected by the pandemic....
