Admittedly, I get a little triggered when people who haven’t been significantly overweight share their views on Ozempic or any weight loss drug. The irony is people will say obesity is a national health crisis and a disease that requires serious medical attention, then when obese people use medicine to assist with their weight management, they’re scrutinised. WeGovy/Mounjaro has positively changed the lives of people who need it most. “Healthy weight” people using the drug to lose 5lbs are the minority. Ozempic is for diabetes and WeGovy is for weight loss.

It's a national health crisis in the West predominantly, because people are lazy....end of. They sit at desks or in seats (driving) all day, order in their food, too lazy to even go through a drive through. Sit on computers....kids these days spend more time on video games then outside playing or doing chores such as cutting grass etc., or helping a neighbour in any way. Their parents don't make sure they eat properly because they are stuffing their faces with the same crap they feed their kids. I was a teenager in the 70's and 80's and an obese child or adult was the exception. Metabolics haven't all of a sudden "evolved in 3 decades (not enough time), so what changed? Fast food existed when I was young-but given as a treat--not as a daily fare, T.V of course existed but we weren't plonked in front of them for hours. So it is down to computers, not enough exercise and the over dependance on lazy people for meals.

Good point. I find it triggering when someone is accused of taking ozempic and gets really offended. They say things like “I actually work really hard for this body” as if people on ozempic aren’t also working really hard. People who take ozempic because they are obese are working a hell of a lot harder than most of us to get healthy, they just happen to have a little help from science. To me it’s the same as someone with depression trying to say they’re working hard to overcome their mental health issues by going to therapy instead of taking meds. The people taking meds are working dang hard as well. Maybe if we stop stigmatizing ozempic as “cheating” we would all be a lot happier and healthier.

I think a big issue here is not people using the drug that may aid them, but people who don’t need it, like celebrities and influencers who have the £££ to obtain it and use it when they don’t need it. I think that’s probably what Victoria means, inside the industry etc I imagine there’s a lot of people who abuse it which is worrying. I also don’t think people realise how horrible it is to have your appetite suppressed either. It isn’t nice! X

🌸🌸🌸So much to say…… First, I really loved the boule top with those jeans and cap! Adorable! Secondly, THANK YOU for sharing your lovely family adventure to one of my favorite places, Zion, Monument Valley and everywhere else. Loved seeing it all unfold daily on IG, thank you for taking us all with you. Lastly….The GLP1 (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mourjaro, Zepbound……) craze , for lack of a better word….. I’ve been taking it for awhile now, and yes it has side effects as most medications do but the outcome/benefits supersedes those. And it’s NOT just a mater of “well, stop overeating and work out instead” that most people just DO NOT understand. I have been overweight my entire life, I could eat nothing but a bag of feathers and moderately work out and NEVER lose weight…..Seven years ago I found out that I had a brain tumor on my hypothalamus….its rare, probably had it since birth and has caused my entire hormonal systems to be completely ineffective! Finally my entire life made sense. The only time I ever lost weight was when I was pregnant and wasn’t trying…. All the puzzle pieces were making sense. So I went on a GLP1 (weekly shots) and the weight has come flying off! I am on the way to being so much healthier , and HAPPIER! But people who have never walked in my shoes, or had any other medical issue (and there are many!…) that prevents someone from losing weight simply just do not understand, they will make their judgmental opinions known, tell others ‘how to live’ , call people names without giving a pause to understand that maybe, just maybe, this meditation can truly be a blessing! Trust me , I’ve lived with hatred and judgement my entire life, I know how horrible people can be…. Bottom line, this medication WAS developed for the treatment of diabetes, but like plenty of other medications, has been useful in treating something else. People need to get off their high horse and get over it. 😄 Victoria, thank you for your lovely work and dedication to your content, I TRULY APPRECIATE YOU! XXOO 🌸🌸🌸

My favourite jeans in the early 70's looked just like these gorgeous jeans. Mine were Pelican Cove Jeans back then.

When you first started chatting in the gym I was thinking, wow Vic's been working hard, you've got really great tone in your arms! You've always been slim but the tone you're showing is awesome, well done you!! I don't think anyone could ever say you've taken Ozempic 😂 I've been trying to work out more regularly this year (I'm 40 in August) but I have serious issues with my back that limits me and I really love my food, so I've not made any changes on the scales but I feel so much stronger and I lift a lot heavier. It's such a great feeling, I'd recommend weightlifting to anyone!

I have followed you for years, love everything about the channel. As a diabetic I can say how difficult it is to get stocks of Ozempic because people are using it for weight loss. I love your unboxings, I love any video from you, you’re a special lady!! I think using Ozempic is completely fine if someone needs it! There’s also the same medicines made for weight loss, which is completely fine if you’re under a doctors care and you need to. There’s nothing wrong with feeling the best you can feel! Sometimes, medicines are used off brand but if there’s a shortage of it, it should go to people who need it first. And like I said before, they now make the same medicines for weight loss. Sidenote, I love the pink hair from back then!

Sadly, everything has gone up in price.. hopefully peoples insurance cover it, if not, the brand has coupons people can use

This is very true regarding ozempic! I work in a pharmacy and we are struggling to get hold of it for our diabetic patients! So I think they should get priority x

Love it when your new videos popup. The ozempic talk is very complicated and I do think there is people without diabetes that actually need it but think Hollywood (and others) is using it as shortcut. Dr Mike’s video with Dr. Rocio Salas-Whalen is very interesting from a medical point. But you look amazing and soo happy especially after the trip and Alex’s health stuff
