Nestlé baby milk scandal: Sugar added to baby milk and cereals in poorer nations • FRANCE 24
Two of the best-selling baby-food brands marketed by Nestlé in low- and middle-income countries contain high levels of added sugar, while such products are sugar free in its home country, Switzerland. These are the key findings of an investigation by Public Eye and the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN), as FRANCE 24's Sam Bradpiece explains.

Boycott Nestlē if you care about the planet and humanity.
Nestle has not changed in 50 years, the baby formula practises in low and middle income in the 60s & 70s were met with boycotts in the West. Time to boycott them again.
Making children sick gets a customer for life regardless of how much shorter that life is. 😢
Adding sugars here, depleting water sources there... Anything to make millions of bucks.
no more Nestle products for me
Shame on these international companies
And not a single word about this in the corporate media.
Nestle should just close it's doors. They are not transparent in what they do. This is not the first time that the company is taken to task. Your Products MUST HAVE THE SAME NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION WORLDWIDE. Stop exploiting poor countries. It's because of companies like Nestle that feel they can prey on the vulnerable. If you CANNOT PERFORM IN YOUR DUTY THAN PLEASE CLOSE YPUR COMPANY.
You know humanity has lost its value, when even the so called rich nations and their companies are making money at the expense of babies. What a sick world.
In India they add 7.1gm of sugar in 100gm product.
Shame on Nestle

So they don't grow up bright and healthy. They want Africa always sick, poor and undeveloped
What a horrible thing. We all know the dangers of sugar.
Unbelievable that Nestlé has earned itself as brand such a bad name in such a short time. Their logo of two birds in a nest reminds more of vultures now....
This is clearly malicious in intent.
Sugar had been increasing in some products for while now
Nestle is despicable! (*munches on a Nestle chocolate bar)
Western civilization and Western values in motion...
Nestle a prominent name. Shows that for them every life is not equal and important
Sugar like drugs induces addiction and a weakening of the immune system. Everything is calculated
Sugar good for baby nutrition. Diabetes is not connected with it
African governments and their beureals of standards must act to protect their people
Nestle- The champion of late stage oligarch capitalism.
Shame on Nestle, never again
Could someone please help me understand why nestle does this? Is their production cost reduced or something?

Less real milk, filled with cheap sugar, while fattening up the babies with sugar, and they will grow up obsessed with sugar and have obesity problems.

@@vikik7877 It's multiple folded, cheap sugar to lower the cost is only one of it, also the change of taste to get babies addicted on all sweet tasting Nestlē products, just the two most obvious reasons, there are more sinisters reasons.
Gangsters!
Boycott Nestle
