as someone who has been struggling with their mental health for more than a decade, multiple suicide attempts, check ins in the mental ward and someone who struggles with their faith and being angry at God for years, this song resonates with me. After losing my mom to cancer, i started to become closer to God and kind of accepted everything. I always looked around and thought why did everyone have it so easy but me, but then i realized mybe I'm "God's favorite". My life has been a sh*tshow for so many years, but your girl did it. she made it out of the trenches. im glad i trusted God. i've stopped being suicidal, am more grateful about the littlest things in life and now engaged to the most amazing man i've ever met in my life who is so gentle, kind and treats me like a Queen. going to a psychiatrist, psychologist and getting meds helped, praying to God helps, surrounding yourself with genuine and positive people helps, practicing gratitude daily helps, and listening to music like this helps. to anyone dealing with mental health issues, you got this. i believe in you. even if ur not a "religious" person, you still got this baby. i will pray for you. im rooting for you and your happiness. thank you nessa for the wonderful song and the album. im sure it saved so many lives. you don't even know it. 🦋❤️

although I’m not the biggest fan of nessa, it is nice to see her slowly healing from what she’s been through because she’s clearly someone who holds a lot of pain and guilt.

The line "it takes someone truly special to survive" really got me. Ive had sepsis 3 times, countless other infections due to arthritis chemo. Ive been in hospital 26 times in the last 12 years, and im STILL HERE!!! Even though my health and body have been permanently affected, im still alive and that is true strength and resilience. Im proud of my battle scars. Sending love to everyone who has had it tough, but still continues to breathe 💗
