July 27th is bugs bunny 80th birthday on Monday

I think this was one of the first NES games I beat. Stage 5 was my favourite for the music and the tree-rustling effect. Fittingly for the game the melody sounds like: Happy birthday, happy birthday (to you) Happy birthday, happy birthday (to you)

Yeah, finally found it! So much memories. I've spend too much time for this. I keep consider this is tiny toon adventures.

The Infamous Game That AVGN Reviewed, With Bugs Fuckin Bunny & Elmer Fuckin Fudd :D

I played this game right when it came out almost 25 years ago. It was a weekend rental sometime between thanksgiving and Christmas that year. I was completely shocked by how good the game was at the time! I was interested in it along with many of the NES platformers when they released, but I really didn't know what to expect with this one. I had been leaning towards below average at the time but after playing it..again shocked was my reaction. Really solid game with good production values at the time. At least visually it was up near Konami level quality. It controlled well and I did finish it that weekend. Good music too especially world 1! Kemco did this no less guys, Kemco! They are STILL around too doing mobile projects.

Are there many NES platformers? I don't have an NES or SNES but play the games on Switch Online, and there are plenty of SNES platformers but very few NES platformers, not counting first-party titles.

Used to LOVE this game growing up!

Seems whoever played this had no idea that you could jump on literally any enemy's head. Or that you can CLIMB the trees in the forest. hwh

I owned a copy of this game. When I first playing this game, Sam was the hardest boss for me. Next, the rope swing timing threw me off for a while. Eventually, I could beat the game in one sitting.

I loved this game. I beat the last boss, Tassie Devil, before my brother. He cried.

I beaten this game as a kid. I had no problems with it. I use to be a very skilled gamer when I was 10. I had no friends growing up so games were my friends.

I had memories my whole life of playing some bugs bunny game where I was do excited to see sprites of other cartoon characters. It's one of this super young dream like memories you don't have much detail on. I just knew Taz was a boss. Skip forward to the Era of KZread and I figure how many bugs bunny games could there have been...surely I'll trigger a memory when I see it. All I've learned watching KZread gameplay vids is I can't believe 6, 7 whatever year old me actually did this. I see 7 year Olds now and don't give them enough credit if this is what I was capable of.

This game is actually good. But there are two problems. One is that if we die, WE HAD TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!!! No checkpoints, No Nothing! Second is that Game Over and we had to start the full game all over again!!

That can be justified because many NES cartridges lacked the ability to save and that some utilise a password system for players to continue where you left off

@@Zahir658 That's true you go back to Kemco Logo after the game over screen. Press start button again and it will resume. And your carrot score doesn't erase like every other game does.

The game itself is alright, I suppose. But I really like the music. It almost has a Capcom feel to it.

In those years, for NES, Capcom published many of its games, as well as many games licensed by Disney. Under the license of the latter in Japan Kemco published a few games, and in America under the licenses of others, including Warner Bros.

I played this when I was younger. One thing though. Porky is seen on the box art yet he wasn't in the game at all. I wonder why.

Not me watching the playthrough of a game I never played and will never play. Looks fun tho😂

Kemco is still around, they just do 16-bit style JRPGs on various platforms. That's pretty much all they do now.

As a kid I kept hitting Foghorn Leghorn a whole bunch of times until realize that all you have to do, is hit Henry Chicken Hawk and they both go down!!!

I remember getting this game for Xmas 90

this ganes was fun when i was a kid i really dont think its as bad as avgn made it out to be but the avgn episode was still funny

Got this game for my 8th birthday, along with Ghostbusters 2. This was the easier game for me. I always liked it, I think my only two beefs with it were the inability to use the mallet for way longer than is necessary when you're stunned, and not giving a password to continue after you exhaust your lives. Otherwise, the playability of it is fun, and thank goodness for emulators, because I was able to create a save point while playing this game the other day.

Avgn's video was very good.

Did you know you could climb the trees in the fifth stage? I think you can also reverse the direction the spikes face in the sixth stage if you hit a button right before them with your mallet.

I've had this game since about 1990. Hadn't played it much in many years. Played it tonight and beat it in one sitting. Actually, it is not that horrible of a game - certainly not perfect though. I remembered most of it even though I probably have not beaten it since 1995 - I played it a lot back then and finished it numerous times. Not an overly difficult game. But it does take time (2-5 hours depending on skill) and a so-so amount of NES skill (more skill than playing a game like Crazy Castle). Great game for a 6 to 10 year old kid though. They will like it. No doubt. Will give a typical kid a nice challenge. AVGN may have lambasted this game but it is not bad. Top Gun and Hydlide come to mind.

I recall playing this younger. But wow, I just see how like the game instantly thinks your pro. First stage starts you out like okay, let's do this, next stage, let's add this, next stage let's add this now! It keeps building each new stage! There's no time to get used to something before it says OMFG! WHAT ABOUT THIS NOW!? I mean the 2nd stage, at the start, that was toss down the controller material right there!

Come on, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE DAMN BONUS GAMES!!!

I know right? I came here after I started playing this game for the first time on my AVS. It's a relief to know that there's nothing wrong with my console, but it's unfortunate that the screen scrolling in this game does not look good at all. It has a "jittery" look to it.

I felt so awful when I had to fight against my favorite character Pepe le Pew!

First the game (which is way to easy to win even by NES standards, I mean, 100 lives?) turns beloved characters like Daffy, Tweety, and Sylvester into homicidal manics out to kill Bugs. Then after he kills them and gets to his party (of which he had to to travel through a forest, a desert, a creepy cave, another forest, and a castle to get to. where exactly was the party?) we find all the characters he killed somehow alive and learn that they only playing "some very funny tricks". TRICKS?, THEY WERE TRYING TO KILL HIM. what the hell?
