For me, the best boss battle theme is the one from Mega Man 3, this game is still awesome too hahahah

Mega Man 2 has passwords while Mega Man 1 has none so not only is it as difficult but if you turn off the game then all the progress is lost

@@RetroArt216204 No. Mega Man 2 has much easier level designs except for Quick Man's stage, and the weapons are broken. Especially Metal Blade. Add in E Tanks, utility items like the Jet Sled (2) and passwords, and you have the second easiest game in the series. 4 is the easiest, since it adds a powerful Charge Shot, and you can reenter Skull Man's stage for 3 E tanks each run, stocking up to the max 9 quickly and easily.

in my opinion the best megaman for NES ever. soundwise, general atmosphere, weapons.. this game still gives me goosebumps everytime i play it

still is regarded as one of the best in the NES series. To this date, it stirs the debate as to which NES Mega Man game reigns supreme and it's always been between Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. No matter which game was your favorite, this one had a lot of fans and brought a lot of good memories to those gamers who were fortunate enough.

The fact that he started from the 2 hardest levels without weapons/abilities from other bosses is amazing

Capcom always keeps a awesome sound track Brings back memories

One of my first Mega Man games (along with 7, X, and 10). I'll never forget when I first beat Mega Man 2 and became a fan ever since. Those were such good times.

CLASSIC! back when games were WHOLESOME. used to play this growing up.

There was something so satisfying about the snapping sound that arm cannon made shooting enemy robots.

At the very last stage, it goes a little Metroid on us.

I’m way too young to have memories of this on the nes. However, I was introduced to many old game series through the virtual console on 3ds and Wii. You know a game stands the test of time when someone only used to new games loves every moment playing one of these games. The mega man series rocks.

Mega man 2 is one of the best of the series, every Mega man games has good music. Mega man games are hard for me.

It’s cool how the intro music for Mega Man 2 is the ending music from Mega Man 1

This is the first time I have ever seen someone do a run in that order. Holy hell. Quite impressive.

This special weapons he used in Mega Man 2 are Air Shooter (Up Air Attack) Metal Blade (Standard Special) Crash Bomber (Side Special) and Leaf Shield (Down Special).

Fact- as soon as you listen to the Crash Man song it will be stuck in your head for the next 6 days

One of the few NES games that's actually balanced in difficulty. This is definitely the best 8-bit Mega Man.

All of the 8-bit Mega Man games are simply feel good games for me. The music, the atmosphere, is relaxing.

I remember a pass in Megaman 3 where you have to beat again all the bosses of Megaman 2 :)

The order of robot masters I go after: 1. Flash Man 2. Metal Man 3. Wood Man 4. Bubble Man 5. Air Man 6. Heat Man 7. Quick Man 8. Crash Man And finally to Wily.

My stepmother's younger cousin came over and got me into this game in 1990 and I fell in love with it. It got me started in the whole mega Man series. Okay this is back in 1990 and the graphics just blew me away. I couldn't believe the Nintendo an 8 bit system could handle this. Then the following year in 1991 my friend up the block let me play and borrow mega Man 3 and from that point on I was instantly hooked. I mean how many mega mans for Nintendo are there about seven or eight?

Every time I beat this game I always wondered why Mega Man's helmet was seen on the ground at 37:02. It made me wonder if he melted in the ground and only his helmet didn't melt or if he littered his helmet on the ground feeling that he doesn't need it anymore.

Are you sure you didn't get the speedruns mixed up with the longplays? XD

If you wanna have the correct NES feeling and speed = just watch the video with the 0.75x speed! (Okay the good old NES was maybe more like the 0.8x speed - but here on YT is only 0.75x speed available!)

My favorite is Mega Man 3. The music for Mega 2 and 3 considered a tie in my opinion for good music soundtracks. I feel that Mega 4 is underrated. It has two evil doctors alone. Mega 5 = strange. Mega 6=Last of NES. Mega One = there wouldn't be any without the first.

This guy/gal finished this under 40 minutes?! That must be a new record.

But, thatd still be a hell of an operation, and cost tons of money either way. I used to wonder what happened to some of his older castles that didnt get ruined. Maybe he put them up for sale, with century 21 or remax. 🤣🤣

During the credits, what's with having the robot numbers start with 9? Would make sence if there were 8 in the first game but there were 6, or did we in NA get shafted out of 2 robots?
