Harry seems to have understood this at some point, but Megsy’s brand of politics which is about tearing down institutions and haranguing people has infected him and he seems to have unlearned everything his family taught him. • @Polopony

    @Polopony

    Ай бұрын

    H's security fight with the Home Office has nothing to do with IPP status. To qualify for International Protected Person status, candidates must be official representatives of their country or government, or immediate dependent members of representatives' families, accompanying them abroad when working in their official capacity. H, as an independent adult non-working royal, is no longer any of these things. This is why he lost his IPP status, and it is why he is no longer eligible for its return, as regardless of what decision the Home Office had made about his protection status and requirements within the UK, if he is not an official representative of the monarchy when abroad, the signatory nation states of the Protection of Diplomats Treaty, under which IPP status is conferred, are not legally compelled to offer him the same protection status at their own expense when he travels abroad. The Home Office makes its decision about H's security status on behalf of the British government only, it has no power to compel the UN Committee to approve H for IPP status if he is not going abroad as a working representative of the British monarch, but as a private individual pursuing his own interests.

    Maybe Nigeria will be so harrowing for them they can use the life-threatening experience to bolster their demand for security from the UK government.

    I think we are going to see Megan, faux surprised, face, find out she has somehow descended from Nigerian royalty… Of course it’ll never be able to be proven and it will jumpstart her incessant desire to be the one to heal generational wounds, lol

    Some of those ‘Royals’ in W Africa were the one who owned and sold slaves. Maybe Megsys backstory might not be what she wants. I am told Shouty Shola comes from such a family.

    my hard luck medical story....well first, I am grateful that I can walk and talk and take care of myself, and I have a roof over my head....that being said, my 4th neck surgery in 21 damaged my vocal cords and now I can no longer sing....while at the ENT specialist where I found out about the damage, seems the CAT scan found a "nodule" on the left side of my thyroid and an oval "nodule" in my upper lobe of my lung.....soooooo a test for the thyroid next Wednesday. Like I said, I am so grateful I have a roof over my head, and I can walk and talk and take general care of myself. It is well with my Soul...I will be fine...

    When making jam, it is important to put the jam in hot jars, place the lids and then process. The only way the wasps could have been is if they were in the fruit, but I can't imagine how they weren't seen as you must continuously stir the pot. Very time consuming which is why I can't imagine That One's Wife doing it herself.

    I had this strong feeling that Haz and his wife may pull a "Jessie Smollet" which will result in the UK relenting and returning all the Ravic protection and more that Haz is demanding. I sincerely hope it doesn't come to that, and the tour is uneventful. Being from Africa I know how easy it is to arrange a "faux" incident - dollars are a currency that can buy you absolutely anything in most of Africa.

    As someone from Nebraska in the US who has made gallons of homemade jams, jellies and preserves in my life, one shouldn’t let the jam cool before jarring. You should seal the jam while it is at its hottest to prevent spoilage. However with all the sugar in those items it’s likely safe either way and so there may not be one right way of doing throughout the world.😉The wasp demise probably happened during boiling, as that could possibly incorporate the wasps unnoticed. If one cooled the jam the wasps, attracted to the sugars, would have gotten their little feet stuck to the surface of the jam and would need to be stirred into the jam prior to jarring. In homemade jams that would be very noticeable.

    Agreed, everything done while hot, hot, hot to get the best seal on the flats. I always thought it's molds that feed on the sugar that are the problem, and almost none can survive high enough temps. Getting the lids on fast traps spores in the minimal air space in little ''steam ovens''. We kept open jars of homemade jam in the refrigerator to prevent molds -- after all that work growing, picking, cleaning, cooking, and canning, not a precious bite should go to the freeloading little invaders 🍓🍒🍑🍎🫐.

    I’m sitting here Shawna, in stitches laughing about you sucking flys🤣. That reminds me of the time I went cycling through the Killarney park in Kerry Ireland. Horse crap everywhere from the horse and cart trips the tourist go on. There was me and my friends cycling through, chatting and laughing happily, not a care in the world. When my friend said something funny of course I broke my arse laughing then choking . A huge stinky blue bottle flew right into my mouth. I skidded through the pile of crap he flew up from and nearly killed my self. Then in typical no sympathy Irish fashion my friend said “well if you kept your mouth shut that wouldn’t happen “.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I think that meant I talk too much!!!😱

    Couple of things: Good Morning and I loved the chat with Taz. It was brilliant. With H&M I think it is right to be concerned about the Nigerian thing. They are so duplicitous but I am refusing to speculate as much as I play with tarot etc. There are so many negative possibilities it just screams of the saying, She is up to no good and no good will come from it.

    Hi Shauna… you’re comments about Freddie Hadley really hit a note with me. In the early 80s my big brother along with many other very sick and disabled children were flown to Disneyland with Koru Care and on the way back to NZ they stopped in England and were taken to the Palace to meet the then Prince Charles and Princess Diana. I cannot describe how excited those children were when they got back home at meeting the royals. It was a dream come true for them and it shows what an effect the monarchy can have to people. Sadly the majority of those children are no longer with us but I will never forget how happy their trip to BP made them🥰

    Shauna, I loved the whole Freddie Hadley Prince William story. It actually was so heartwarming I nearly teared up. What an outstanding occasion for Freddie and the school to highlight their mental health commitment to young men. Thank you to Prince William for taking part in recognizing the importance of their program and the earnestness of this young man.

    I loved the post-wedding photo released by the Prince and Princess of Wales in celebration of their 13th wedding anniversary. Prince William looked so handsome in his black uniform donning his wings, and it was extra special when I heard that it was the uniform he actually preferred to wear on his wedding day. But, like a good grandson, he deferred to his grandmother, the Queen, and wore the uniform in which she wished to see him wed Catherine. I really hope she is doing well in her recovery, and I anxiously await her return to her royal duties. I always enjoy seeing Princess Catherine attending Wimbledon each summer, and I really hope she feels well enough to continue one of her favorite annual traditions. I loved the year she sat in the stands with her father and joined in doing the wave with the rest of the crowd - so sweet!

    In Canada we have understood that the Trudeau’s have been living separate lives for some time, only getting together for events like royal coronations. Who could blame Sophie, she put up with him a long time, I’d go to the coronation if hubby was a guest too. I wish her the best. I saw HMQE2 in summer of 1978 in walkabout in St Paul Alberta before she opened the commonwealth games in Edmonton Alberta. Never occurred to me to curtsey and no one else did either. Was overdue with child that day . She was beautiful in person, just lovely skin. Loved your chat with Taz. Well done. Looking forward to next one.
