great work! i’m fairly new to ceramics so, can i ask why did you scrape off the bottom of the bowls while glazing?

Thank you so much for watching and for your comment!🤗💕 ✨The reason why we typically do not glaze the bottoms of the bowls is because they will stick to a shelf that they’re sitting on when they are fired. When the glaze reaches a certain temperature it liquefies and that means it’s going to stick. Or you can paint wax resist emulsion on the bottom of the bowls before glazing.
What if you cover the base with wax before put into a glace?
