I don't have to imagine it. I have seen it. There are usually beliefs about money and economics that are now called "radical" and "impossible", but which are actually quite old and moderate by world standards.

Thank you for making this video! Neptune is in my 2nd house and the fear/anxiety resonates. I'm one of those people that feel broke with 10k in savings 😅. Because it doesn't cover 6-9 months of living expenses should something physically debilitates me and I can't earn. Sagittarius is in my second house so I think that stirs further discomfort because it's a fire sign. Maybe also not compatible with Neptunian energy? Charging people for anything makes me cringe so you are right about this being a tough aspect. Thanks for bringing more awareness to this topic. Neptune currently in retrograde and I'm not looking forward to Jupiter retrograde... Oh. That'd be now...

When it comes to "not wanting to charge for services", one of the motives to look at with Neptune in the second house is not wanting the responsibility. If you are giving your services for free you can do a crummy job. Who cares? They didn't pay anyway. If you charge, there is a responsibility on your end to be conscientious and listen to what the customer says and to make corrections for them if possible. When you charge, they suddenly have a universal measuring stick. They can complain and criticize. Since Neptune shimmies away from responsibility whenever he can, I think this is an important piece to look at in the second house. And you are right that the fire sign Sagittarius makes the situation more complex because Sag is known for excesses. That means excesses of both spending and saving. Since we are talking about Neptune, the paradoxical planet, it is possible to find a way to do both at the same time.

Hah! That's most likely why I shy away from management and leadership positions, and all the other bureaucratic shenanigans in the corporate world. The free spirited, carefree, and fun seeking Sag is more in agreement though than conflict with the lack of wanting responsibility where impact cannot be made (or deemed as meaningless gerbil churning on a wheel and not worth the effort). Having time and freedom is definitely more important than doodads or keeping up with the consumerist lifestyle, but I do struggle with finding a style that is grounded in practicality in earning income. If something isn't fun or filled with learning/expansive opportunities, the motivation evaporates. Not many things are fun or filled with new and interesting avenues of learning and relating. My introverted nature and lack of risk appetite also doesn't help the second house situation, although I have been through more bouts of hoarding than purging. Plus I also have two T-squares where both remedies would be in expressing through Aquarius 3rd house, so it's a bit of headache to find my happy place. Most of the time just swatting anxiety and worries takes up way too much energy and it's not productive.

Based on your experience beautiful soul I'm curious 🤔 when one is surveying which direction to go feeling as if they're at a cross roads, would one look at their progressed and solar arc charts as well for placements or would the natal chart tend to provide all the answers one seeks along with factoring in the transits? How should one factor in Neptune in the 2nd House placidius vs Neptune in the 3rd Whole Sign (House) system? Trying to make sense of things that may or may never make sense along with being able to feel the energy I'm thinking otherwise possibly? I wonder how much of our charts is actually fated regardless of what we do versus what actually may be in our control in order to know where and how one should prioritize their energy in hopes of helping as many other beautiful souls out there along with ourselves and our own children and grandchildren 🤔? A year prior to my brothers suicide he was in a work accident, an asphalt pump literally dumped hot asphalt on his head on his birthday along with the rest of his upper tors and a few spots on his legs. I spent a month in the hospital out of state with him acting as his medical advocate. While the burn hospital was phenomenal there's a reason why medical malpractice exists, mistakes happen and lots of ego are involved. I almost lost him a couple times throughout the process but didn't due to some of the issues I caught, one while he was coding. I can tell you honestly it wasn't me, that information was coming through me to remember via the Angels 😇 or ancestors hence why I'm confused. I wonder now after doing our charts together if I was supposed to be there intervening or did I delay the inevitable 😔? This wasn't the first time he almost lost his life, my mom almost accidentally killed him being so wacked out of her mind on whatever drugs she was taking at the time along with the booze. I was so angry with her, I was only 6 at the time, I carved I hate Mom and Ronnie (her drug dealing boyfriend) into the drivers door on the drivers side so she'd see it every time she got into the car in hopes she'd think twice prior to hoping into her car driving completely impaired killing herself or others. I got the holy hell beat out of me by both them but refused to cry and screamed I hate you with each lash until I finally went unconscious. So much had already happened to us, I just wanted the agony to stop. So much more happened to us as well, she just couldn't seem to get sober until a couple months prior to her untimely death at 47 yrs of age from Hep C and cirrhosis of the liver unfortunately. My brother committed suicide at the beginning of 2023, I've lost 3 siblings (2 step siblings) surrounding addictions and unhealed wounding beginning in childhood surrounding our parents addictions. This brothers Neptune happens to be on the same axis as mine but his is in the 8th house conjunct his North Node in Sagittarius. He was a Scorpio Sun ☀️ 7th house, Gemini Moon 2nd House conjunct his South Node in Gemini. Taurus rising as well. I don't have access to my step siblings charts that passed, I didn't have access to this brother's chart until after he passed. When I looked at the transits at the estimated time of his death it felt to me as if he was literally being energetically squeezed to death 😭. I miss him being on the earth plane so much. I miss the other one's as well but this one's killing me feeling as if there's something I might have been able to do or should've seen yet didn't. I could sense f*ckery afoot in the energy yet didn't know what to attribute it to? My brother taking his life wasn't even on my radar despite my concern due to the energy. When I looked at our synastry chart my Neptune is conjunct his Neptune and North Node in his 8th house. I'm not sure if I was supposed to see it coming and intervene or was I about the only person could've helped him had he reached out prior to acting? Neptune's illusions and delusions and why it was hidden from me or am I making more out of this conjunction in the 8th house synastry? So many questions. I have 2 step siblings left both actively using opiate based drugs. I believe one of them is on the Autism Spectrum and was never diagnosed. So between the abuse we grew up with and the rest of what he's dealing with I'm scared to death for him but beyond what I've already done I'm not sure what else I can do for him other than to keep praying 🙏 for him and leaving the door open but if there's more I can do to prevent further destruction I will. My family is alienated with me due to trying to get them all off the opiates. He hasn't talked to me since I suggested he wasn't in any shape to take custody of my great nephew (his grandson) when my niece, his daughter was murdered and suggested he went to rehab to clean up and begin working on the grief of losing a child prior to taking custody. I wasn't wrong, he lost temporary custody the first week he had him due to his drug use and grief. I suspect he thinks I had something to do with it a state away from him because I was the only one that had the courage to state the obvious but didn't have anything to do with him losing custody. I really don't know what to other than pray 🙏 for him. You are spot on with natal Neptune in the 2nd, so much I could say about how this placement has panned out thus far yet again feeling as if I'm at a cross roads not sure what the best next steps are to take if any at this point? Firstly, my sympathies over the death of your brother and siblings that passed away. Secondly, you are using the word crossroads, but in your letter, I don't see a crossroads. A crossroads is a moment when you are given two roads, both of which have similar value and seem to give similar rewards. A crossroads means there are two paths that are about equal. Mercury and the third house are associated with crossroads. One of the reasons the third is associated with crossroad is because it is linked to all roads and paths that take you around the local environment. The third house and Mercury are also both linked to the mental exercise we call "discrimination" or "discernment". I am not sure what the entire story is, so I can't know if you are actually at a crossroads, as crossroads is defined. The conjunction of your Neptune with your brother's Neptune-North Node....your fate is hard to say using only that one synastry point. It is an outer planet as well, so it would be speculation. Fate is an idea that Philosophers have been working on for ages. Is an event destined to occur? Can we change the event, or can we just move the timeline? Or is moving the timeline calculated in the fateful event anyway? As the great astrologer, Liz Greene, once said, "I have come to see that Fate is as liquid a word as Love." Which chart you should look at (or if you should look at more than one) is up to you. Most people will feel one calling to them while the others stay silent. I knew an astrologer who would put all the charts face down and swing a pendulum to see which one wanted his attention. Personally, I would look at the natal chart (and transits) for any kind of immediate issue. There is a reason the natal chart is the most popular in western astrology. It is the most utilized because it generally has the most information about the most mainstream events in our lives. I see the progressed chart as more of a psychological profile of where you are in the natural unfolding of your lifetime. I say use the whole sign chart that puts Neptune in your third. I say that because your letter is absolutely jammed with keywords for Neptune and the Third house. It is amazing to see how loudly Neptune in the 3rd expresses itself in your letter. There is a keyword in almost every sentence. That, I would take as a sign to look especially hard at your whole sign chart and transits. That is all I can address without you coming for a reading. Stay strong. Stay flexible.

I have Moon in 1st (libra) and Neptune in 2nd house (scorpio). Can' t make anything out of it. I always loves to draw and paint. Gave many pictures away or destroyed my artwork again. I am so frustrated that everything is always about money....this pisses me off.

I dont have neptune in the second house but I have pisces in the 2nd house because I'm an Aquarius rising. I've moved to south America 11 yrs ago. I inherited a property. And having this placement, 4 me, money doesn't make me happy. But I'm glad I have enough to survive. I like giving it away when it flows in. I have Jupiter in the 8th. I can live off very little and be fine. As long as I have a roof over my head and food in my tummy. That's what matters most to me.

Yes, Pisces on the cusp of the 2nd shares things with Neptune in the second, though it is usually less complicated. When it is a planet there is a DRIVE. When it is a sign on the cusp there is a tone. But enough to relate to. Thanks for sharing. South America sounds beautiful and Jupiter in the house of inheritance can be very lucky!

How Saturn and Jupiter operate in a house depends upon how far they are from each other and if they are in the same sign or different signs. But Saturn is a minimalist and so helps to slow down Jupiter's spending in any case. In the 8th it does sound like you are living off other people's money which is the traditional way to experience the 8th.

Does Neptune in the 2nd include extreme sports?

No. Sports are in the 5th house (under recreation and play) and while Neptune does seem to draw Neptunian people toward swimming and diving, it is NON-competitive by nature.

That answer would require us to have a sit down. We are talking about some strong forces so we would have to look at that in the context of the whole chart and the context of your life.

Depends on the aspect. A house can be large and so there are actually a few different possibilities for Jupiter. Go head and give me the degree of Neptune in Cap and the degree and sign of Jupiter.

I am glad you asked because it is an excellent example of how an astrological reading works. If I saw this opposition, I would start asking you questions about "your" money as it pertains to "family" money and dreams that have not come true due to these entanglements. With this opposition, I am likely to find money going out to support family debts you never incurred, or unearned money coming in. Something about this set up is likely causing financial troubles, disillusionment, or feelings of dependence. As I poke around at the somewhat narrow possibilities, you as the client would tell me exactly how the dynamic is playing out in your life. Once I know the details, it is easy to give you advice because both Jupiter and Neptune speak. They carry the wisdom you need to get out of every problem their placements have caused. This is how the planets lead and guide, like dowsing rods. This is the way in which a reading is collaborative. At other points in a reading, based on your planets, you simply receive insights you had never considered.

I think he's asking where Neptune actually feels "supported". This planet has its strengths and weaknesses in every house, of course, but some houses are not compatible with the nature of Neptune. The second is the most challenging place for it in my view. Neptune starts to feel comfortable in the 3rd. It is also friendly to the 5th and the 9th. It's success in the 10th depends on the rest of the chart. But I just met a boat pilot who has it in the tenth and is retiring from a long career on the water :-)

And unfortunately I got it in my second house in the sign of capricorn...whatever that killer-combination means
