Kathmandu right I think there was a song called Kathmandu but anyway this should be more exciting to start off my weakness is the beautiful mountains and the clouds the bible says that the clouds are actually the dust off of god's feet very interesting the opening scene of the video looks so spectacular and majestic its unreal how low the clouds are to the earth it almost seems like you can walk up the mountains and touch them just an incredible view I've heard of a room with a view but this whole country of Nepal has 360 degree views from everywhere this is one of the most scenic countries I have ever seen including the gorgeous little puppy dog so witytravels from the perfect weather you are having to the majestic Himalayan mountains thank you for this absolutely incredible lesson on the people and culture from this amazing country called nepal 🇳🇵 ❤️

Your video is fun and informative, just to give you some information about national flag. Yeah of course because of language and other barrier not everyone are able to explain the way they wish. So national flag two triangle signifies mountains as the guy explained and sun and moon signifies two most extreme but opposite region of Nepal mountain soft like moon and plain hot tarai like sun. The colour red is nation color also indicates Nepalese or particularly Gurkhas bravery and blue bother around flag signifies warm and kind heart of Nepalese as well and uniting all Nepalese together 😁

The flag of Nepal consists of two triangular shapes, with the upper triangle being smaller and situated on top of the larger lower triangle. The colors used in the flag hold symbolic meaning. The crimson-red color represents bravery, strength, and the fierce spirit of the Nepali people. It also symbolizes the country's commitment to maintaining sovereignty and standing up against any threat. The blue border around the flag signifies peace and harmony, as well as the fact that Nepal is a landlocked country. The two triangular shapes themselves hold significant meaning. The upper triangle represents the Himalayan Mountains, symbolizing the lofty aspirations and determination of the Nepali people. The lower triangle represents the country's various communities and their unity in working together for the nation's progress. Overall, the Nepali flag represents the courage, resilience, and unity of the Nepali people, as well as their commitment to peace and progress in our country.

You're right about the taxis charging a lot more all over the world, especially if you don't know the local language. Got HUGELY scammed in Mexico city just yesterday. It hurts. Yea, we asked the host the maximum we should pay to get from the airport to our apartment, but that doesn't mean it's a great price. Don't think we just went to a taxi in Mexico City. We try to use Uber or its equivalent whenever we can because the foreigner rates for taxis are crazy. We also carry a phone charging power bank because we are paranoid about having no phone lol. Thank you so much for the continued support. Many more Nepal videos to come!

In modern times, the flag's symbolism has evolved to incorporate several meanings. The crimson red indicates the bravery of Nepali people and is the country's national color and the blue border represents peace and harmony. The colors are often found in Nepalese decoration and works of art.A theory is that the two points represented peace and hard work, using the symbols of the moon and sun respectively. Traditionally the flag of Nepal is derived from Hinduism which is common in Hindu cultures. However, the modern and government-sanctioned representation is of Hinduism and Buddhism, the main religions of the country. The inclusion of the celestial bodies indicates Nepal's permanence and the hope that Nepal will enjoy the same longevity as the Sun and the Moon. The moon also symbolizes the cool weather of the Himalayas, whereas the sun symbolizes the heat and the high temperature of the southern lowlands (Terai). Additionally, the stylized moon represents the calm demeanor and purity of spirit of the Nepali people, while the stylized sun represents their fierce resolve.

The meaning of nepal explained by shopkeeper is not actually correct. triangles are not representation of mountains. Since Nepal was hindu kingdom until 2008 and traingular flag is representation of Hinduism kingdom. Generally only one triangleb is common but Nepal has 2 triangles joined into 1. I hope you had nice time in Nepal.
