    Nice vid as ever. I've got the holzforma Chinese ms200t and it's taken a bit of messing around to get it running well. Replaced the fuel and air filters for Stihl ones, shortened the line on the spark plug boot etc. But the main thing has been loads of fiddling around with the carburettor. That little saw sounded like the low screw needed adjusting to stop it bogging out as much on full revs. Just a thought and someone might've already mentioned it in the comments but it's worth a go.

  • @metaspencer

    @metaspencer

    You said it man: monkeying around with those carb screws has helped a lot, though I always feel like I'm experimenting when it comes to carb adjustment. Plenty of power and a bit more control now ... definitely less $$$$ out the door :)

    That's actually a decent little saw 😀 The starter cover on mine is a bit different... I have the "chainsaw" branded version... It's a good little runner believe it or not I have the exact same one guilty of treeson made a video with.. I dropped mine 40 feet (yes really) from a tree and it fell just right in some brush on the clutch side... only thing that happened was a couple of the mounts got out of place... as far as cheap chinese products go you can't ask for much more... I've also talked to another youtuber that made a video about it and he told me he passed it on to someone and 2 years later it was still running... not sure what the deal is but farmertec sells a very similar saw but with only one bar nut... I'm assuming yours is the 2 nuts... now on to the rest of the video!
