It's kind of brilliant to design a game around speedruns, so every time someone breaks a level, you have that tiny voice in the back of your head wondering if you're still just dancing in the developer's palm.

This is so fascinating to see! As opposed to most other games showcased here, this one is MADE for speedrunning and you can see that in the dev commentary. It's incredibly beautiful to see!

There's probably lacking collisions on a few corners or pixels so yeah probably gonna break the game to under 10minutes

after being part of the speedrun community in the demo this is definitely my favorite devs react to speedrun episode

I’ve played the game, went to their show organized by a friend, had hell of fun, discovered way after they were the same guys lol

the book of life levels were so fun to watch, their attitude when somebody teleports through solid objects was genuinely so funny to watch.

Easily a top 10 favorite game of mine. Perfect fit for casual speedrunning and very engaging gameplay and the soundtrack makes it such a vibe. Hope they make the leaderboard more navigable.

so cool how every level from a game designed to make you speed through it sticks perfectly in your memory

just watching the speedrun feels so well, like a calm visual asmr where all pieces go in the right spot and is very cool to hear the devs opinate

Even the developers reaction wasn't as fast as that speedrun. Still aced it.

Speedrunners are amazing. This game itself is such a nice gift to the speedrunning community!

That would place it in my top 3 games of all time if they would do that.

Shout out to Machine Girl for making an amazing soundtrack!

loving this game so far (with the exception of estate....) cool idea idea might dlc where you play as the other colored neons with their own unique weapons.... could be cool to have character leader boards and such

devs who actually play their games just make me so happy.

My man Azorae, doing amazing runs as always. His Talos Principle runs are also very fun :D

Some of the routes have gotten even crazier. I'd love to see them do something like this again.

This is my favorite game, and it's one of the few I've 100%, but seeing how fast these guys can go... makes me sad inside. That was incredible

As trackmania simply teaches. Time spent in the air is time not spent accelerating.

3:20 "Hidden" is an understatement. It took me a year and a half of playing this game to find out that there was a parry mechanic...I was so amaze. Lmao.

This is the Level Rush mode, which is just the levels back to back with none of the in-between stuff. It's unlocked after completing the game and has its own leaderboards.

You should have them back on and have them react to the special character levels

they either say “this is so old” or “we added that at the last minute”

Getting author medals for every one of the maps became insanely difficult. Was having to get into top 2500 on leader boards for them. Love the game though!
