You know what I like most about Neon Trees? It isn't even their music (although their music is great). It is because, when they are on stage, Neon Trees is one of few bands nowadays that genuinely looks like they are having fun. I mean especially to the start of a concert look at Tyler, and half of the time he looks like is having the time of his life, and it doesn't look fake. That speaks volumes if you ask me

Tyler Glenn is such a legend, but you can tell his voice was exhausted by that song. Shame really, but he's got so much energy. Can't wait to see them live.

Not being able to hear the crowd is probably more a function of where the cameras and microphones were than the crowd not actually singing. I've seen this band live twice, the second time just last night, and both times everyone screamed along, especially with this song.

I think I'm in love with the drummer.

I don't go to concerts much but i made sure to go to theirs at Portland. Their music have helped me through some tough times and I was so excited to finally see them live. Unfortunately, the crowd is probably one of the worst I have ever seen (live or on any videos). Even tyler had to ask the crowd to get into it for a couple of their hit songs. I was so disappointed at the crowd and in some way ruined my experience. But the energy on the stage was there. Such a shame but I still appreciate the music and an amazing performance.

The audience isn't awful. This is a Vevo channel, they like to feature the band/musician and they do that by lowering the volume of the audience so you can actually hear the band. Its a little a weird and annoying at first but you get to enjoy a live performance with out having to listen to people screaming/singing the whole time. If you'd like to watch a live performance with the audience feel then don't watch a Vevo video.

Vevo Mutes the crowd I believe. Hence the awkward silence/low volume of their singing. I could be wrong though.

I thought this was a great live performance! He sings it quite well actually. Some great bands suck live. Also, tons of singers aim for the lower note when performing live. It ads some variation to the song and it's usually easier for them. I wouldn't want to go to a concert to hear a band play the song exactly like the recording. And I'm not some super fan that gets offended when people insult them. I don't know their names and I only know three of their songs. The singer was great.
