I've just used my pigments for the first time, l did the same as you and it's turned out great. I've struggled using them in the past, so l didn't bother. Really pleased you did these and they look gorgeous. great vid 😁👍😘💗🥰

😩 These are so beautiful!! If only I had a time machine I've been trying to "re-create" a pigment animal print set for the last 3 days!! I'm ready to throw them in the trash! If not for so much time and beautiful colors wasted I would forget all about that stress set and attempt to copy this set instead!! Oh well.. You did a beautiful job! I will say...I used base coat over top my white gel coat, and I definitely noticed a difference. The colors are more bold and they blend differently vs applying them on top the white coat. I've used the same white coat brand since I started pigments and didn't have any issues but suddenly it's not absorbing the pigments the same and floating the top coat became next to impossible. So I tried the base coat, cured and it is a different look but, I definitely prefer to just use the white coat. I use Madam Glam gels but I don't have the Perfect White I'm thinking I'm going to switch my "old faithful white gel" to MG White. I have noticed a lot of the pigment videos I've watched lately are using Perfect White with ease. 💅♥️

beautiful colors and set

I use a matt top coat Nat, I tried it under curing it slightly and the pigments went on the best I've ever done! Try it xx honestly it was a game changer for me!

They are lush but I prefer Matt too coat it works so much better 😊

I recently watched a video from Alexandra Molnar and she blended her pigments on a stamper head using those little eyeshadow applicators that come with the pigments, then after she'd gotten a good blend she stamped that onto the nail and it was the best blend I've ever seen with pigments. Not sure how well that would work on this kind of nail where it's just full cover pigment but it might be fine if you had a big enough stamper head 🤷‍♀️

What brush do you recommend

can you do the new trend optical illusion ombre french with pigments?

I know it's an old video but fingers crossed you'll see this. I used this technique, but after a couple days the pigment powder part started pealing off but whatever was underneath stuck, I used the tacky layer, then pigment then used a basecoat as I don't have a clear gel that dries tacky other than basecoat. But it all pealed off, is there a different way of doing this technique?

What brush are using?

What gliter you use name plxx

What I've been recently is once I've dabbed the pigment in I cure is again so the pigments or even glitters don't move. They settle in. Not sure if it makes a difference but I have less issues with it.

That's a really good thing to do. I like to cure again after I've burnished a fine glitter into the tacky layer. It's amazing how much that extra cure can help!

I absolutely love the contrast of the matte colors in the back with the shiny, sparkly, glossy gel paint on top. 😍 I must be the only person, in the world, that can't even ombre with pigments though. I rarely use my pigments, and they weren't cheap. I paid almost $20 for the set, over a year ago, and I've used them 3 or 4 times. I cannot do an ombre with them though. I don't know why. 🙄 You killed it with those blends though!

I'm trying to recreate and it's difficult creating that middle ombre. The nail is purple then pink nothing inbetween. Super frustrating.

Great informational video. If you're going to be teaching nails or at the very least teaching people how to paint nails and make nail designs with gel polish, you should always show people and tell people to file a full-cover nail or a nail tip.. if anybody does this at home it'll peel off in a day or two, if they don't pre-file their plastic full cover or half tips.. I hope you don't think I'm rude. I did go to nail school and cosmetology, I'm sure you did too or you're self taught ..but one of the biggest things people don't think about is filing and etching the surface of their plastic tips before you can gel polish, especially if you put on a thick coat or three coats of gel polish, it'll definitely peel .. The latest would be 7 days or so
