How hard is it to find someone that actually _has a southern accent_ to do voice acting? The most unbelievable thing about this absolute farce is your MAIN CHARACTER’s VOICE I feel like it goes without saying that this concept, this execution, this subject matter; are all the worst possible versions of what could be done with a platform and a budget. Still gonna say tho: 1. This attempt to assign some sort of hard working, well intended, world forsaken yet noble underdog status to this genre would be laughable if this wasn’t so sincere. The utter obliviousness and self aggrandizing required to put something like this out in earnest is dizzying. 2. I cannot think of anyone that we need to hear from _less_ than hick-hop artists and their cohort 3. What 4. No 5. Stop that 6. It’s telling that 95% of the music used in this trailer wasn’t the type of music this show is about. It’s almost like “hick-hop” is a hollow garbage medium without any perspective on anything whatsoever and it struggles to even reflect honestly on the shallow machinations of its creators who have no taste, talent, or voice. 7. Pete Davidson likes hick hop. Ofc he does In conclusion, this is so gross. If you’re going to make a tone deaf tableau of languishing, drug addled, Appalachian decay (pretending to be an edgy artistic struggle) for the audio format, *the absolute least you could do* is find a f*cking voice actor that’s from Tennessee and learn like 4 things about the people here ffs 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
