It's our mission to start a new musical genre revolution, not to dwell on the past. You think bands like this dwelled on the past? Of course not! They grabbed some instruments and started playing something original. Lets stop with the unoriginality and lets start something new and powerful!

I met the either the guitarist or the drummer (can't remember which) without knowing who he was. Dude just happened to rent a kayak from me lol. So glad I finally gave this a listen

Just found out my dad used to work with someone in this band and introduced him to Henry Rollins once

This band is awesome. The singer's voice reminds me of Milo from Descendents.

This is my fave US hardcore

Well, grindCORE (as the very name implies) grew out of the extreme hardcore of the mid '80's (1984-87): D.R.I., Negative FX, Neon Christ, The Neos, Y.D.I., Siege, Deep Wound, Septic Death, Stark Raving Mad, Larm, Heresy, Ripcord, S.O.B., Cryptic Slaughter, Attitude Adjustment, Psycho, Psycho Sin, Heibel, Patareni, N.Y.C. Mayhem, Straight Ahead, Negative Gain.

@@piotrb8434 Yep. Lots of people have the misconception that grindcore is heavily indebted to the metal scene, and while that may be true for newer bands, most of the OG 80s grind bands (especially from the UK) were just trying to make hardcore punk that's as extreme as possible

@@Sergio-nb4hj Orginal intent of it was mixing this type of stuff like this, Siege, Cryptic Slaughter, early D.R.I and mix it into extreme metal and the most common influences for those were Celtic Frost, Possessed, and Slayer.

This is from 1984, I saw them play @ the Yellow Rose in Charlotte and I bought this EP there, still got it.
