This was the moment Neo completely disregarded the whole prophecy bullshit. The only thing he believed in was his ability to bring his friend back. Such a beautiful scene.

prophecy is more of a guidance. If Neo didn't hear about the prophecy, he wouldn't have gone to save Morpheus that made him the one.

The reality is that she loves him...and he loves her. She does indeed outrank him and I like that she "bosses" him in the end of this scene by superior rank...but I think her decision to go with him is truly rooted in her love for him. I also think this scene is the first time that they BOTH know they love each other.
3:37 the only time she's annoyed with him haha. But that was the only way to get him to understand.

Because The Actor who played him (Marcus Chong) asked for a higher salary and that caused him to be removed from the sequels.

@@DavidLee-vp3nr Yup, and it's strongly implied she basically fell for him sometime after Morpheus found him (before what we see in the movie) and they started more or less, cyber stalking him. Then her feelings really amped up to true love, after he wakes up from the Red Pill. Neo was aware of Trinity before the movie, at least by her hacker name / infamous hacks. So it's implied he was intrigued by this Trinity person. Though, "I though you were a guy. Most guys do..." LOL And of course, The Oracle, has her, Dangerous Game meddling in all this.

That was my reaction to the moment in "Speed" when a different character played by Keanu Reeves saved Lives of a few People trapped in a lift. "Speed" (1994) is a great film. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it.

I just wish she hadn't told him to "go to hell". That, to me, is a vicious thing to say to someone. That's like something someone says to a person they hate; though I would never say it to anyone, not even an enemy. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but if someone I cared about said that to me, I would be very hurt.
