Reason they animated them in CGI is that when it comes to parts that shift and transform, it would be cheaper and easier than hand-drawn animation.

In my opinion this anime would have been cooler with hand drawn animation for the mechs and less cg.

I give this a fail. My favorite anime is Yuusha Raideen. I first saw the series in the late 70's. This anime made me a fan of the genre. This was a cheap short cut to thunderbird mode.

Alberto Gutierrez they should’ve made this 2007 remake more like RahXephon which all around was way better... and RahXephon was inspired heavily by the story/plot behind Reideen. If you want a “Good Reideen Remake” with an altered story go watch RahXephon sometime the robot is way cooler in that show though.

Reideen is one of the few mechas that really, really look great as CG.
壮大な感じが好き
ライディーンはどれもリメイク姿がかっこいい。ゴッドの正統派ロボットな感じと違う、生物じみた造形とゴールドで統一されたカラーリングなのにけばさがない。元祖ライディーンの神秘のスーパーロボットという部分を突き詰めた感じがかっこいい。

なんかロボ絵は⭕️だけど、キャラ達のヒョロヒョロ感が有るかな？ 「超者 ライディーン」や「勇者司令 ダグオン 」みたいなキャラ絵なら問題 無いかな😅？ いつか絶対見たいですよね？ 初代 勇者ライディーン 超者 ライディーン ゴッド ライディーン ラーゼフォン 新 ライディーン 達による 小・中・大・巨大の順番で放つ「オール・ゴッド バード ・ストラク」😙👍!
