My goodness they were quite cheeky with each other in this interview LMAO...I had to rewind a couple time to make sure I heard what I thought I did. Jeremy's a trip and a very very good actor. Gabby's cute too. Thanks for posting.

I watched the movie and it’s wonky and flimsy in its storytelling in the way they tried to address sensitive themes but I would like to believe that the intention is harmless. It’s about a misguided man who ingratiated himself with bad company (Neo-Nazis) due to parental neglect. He developed a racist attitude from the company he kept but eventually changed after meeting a black woman (although that was all done in the first act of the movie alone. Afterwards it just became about their romance and Rachael’s revenge against her sexual abuser)

@@snoopymochi562 No everything is wrong with you if you looked at this movie and didn't think it was problematic. Keep in mind this movie is made by a white person, what goal do you think any person would achieve by making a NEO NAZI romance with a BLACK WOMAN. Neo Nazis are one of the last people that need humanization. Not only that but the movie itself is poorly written in many obvious scenes. Its themes are also again very problematic. It perpetuates this idea that this black woman rises above the racism and shes responsible for other peoples bigotry when it isn't her job. Not just that put also that somehow this interracial relation is going to magically stop racism. It uses racism as a backdrop and never reprimands it. Its also very reflective of the time period, because in order to stop racism black people just need to not be mad. Like its incredibly stupid and problematic.

While watching the movie, I wasn’t really certain about the director’s vision because it was all over the place. So yeah, I didn’t enjoy the movie, not just because it poorly addressed racism, mental health and sexual abuse but everything else. I give the director the benefit of the doubt because the movie was made during an era where political correctness wasn’t in the norm. I would like to think that his intention wasn’t trying to be racist but it still came off as being one to most people. That said, I also wonder how such a project got greenlit in the first place but a lot of projects from before 2010 got made and greenlit despite having problematic themes.
