i started watching the guyver when i was 6 yrs old. Im gonna be 18 soon and its still the best freakin anime ever. Gigantics megasmasher takes any super saiyan blast and rapes it strait up the poop shoot. Yoshiki Takaya is the shieza + 3 for creating this shit.

Those energy ball thingies ARE the Gigasmasher cannons, a gelatinous substance that forms when the bio-booster armor activates it's most powerful organic weapon, which uses Hyper Kinetic Energy and the particle known as graviton to power this weapon. The Guyver normally only has one gravity controller, which is the metallic looking orb at his belt, that creates a miniscule wormhole to an energy rich dimension known as Hyper Space.

this series ended at volume 9 or 10 in the manga. there are 25 already published, and new ones are still being published in shonen ace. i think the odds are likely that there will be a new season, but then again, so far only volumes 1-8 of the manga have been translated here

I love the Neo Guyver. It is much more fire power than it's original form.

This is far, far from the end. The story is up to the 24th graphic novel atm which is enough to make another TV series and the story still goes on lol!

It's Gigantic Guyver and the megasmasher weapon is called Gigasmasher in this form. Guyver 1, Sho, was fighting a losing battle with a Zoalord, and sho wished, with all of his power that he had just enough power to defeat him. Thus, the creator ship complies with it's bio-weapon and creates a coccoon like pod, which Sho, Guyver 1 is pulled into, and is reborn as the Gigantic Guyver, a tremondous power boost that can only sustain 15 minutes of activity because it uses so much power.

True, but keep in the mind the manga series only now is killing of Zoalords and seeing as the release date is 1 chapter a month (do note, NOT a book) which is even then subject to change due to delays. I think the Series back in 05 ran out of footage and would have to had ' improvised' all they possibly could have done was how Chronos did take over the world, which was mentioned briefly in the show, yet had a chapter or 2 dedicated to in the manga.

I read the manga years ago, it got up to Black Guyver stole the Gigantic Armor from White Guyer and Black Guyver created his own team, he went to the HQ of the 12 Zoalords and fought 2 of them then all of a sudden the manga disappeared! I havent heard anything on Guyver after that and it was about 5 years ago

Series isn't over... it countinues in Manga, will prolly countinue in Anime eventually

It's very sad that the Guyver series had not been very successful in the media or franchise. The OVA was promising but cancelled after Bandai ran out of fundings and there was not a demand, the 05 series cancelled after one season could be the ratings. Maybe if Toei handled it, it would have lasted much longer.

Because he died earlier, and was regrown from his control medal, which doesn't recreate clothing after the host dies.

Chronos did make the world a better place, but it is a false peace as any Zoalord can strip any processed human of their free will.

This was the last episode so this guyver, it was weird as well as zoinods were intergrated into normal life some how, the lizard dude was apton he was cool with the lot of them at the end, the guy who got killed at the end was the leader of the hyper zoinoid team (balker ??)

I THINK there is a movie that finishes out the series. Guyver: Out of Control. But Don't quote me on it. It might have been the finisher for the old Guyver series.

The new OVA of Guyver is sweet but i like the older OVA of guyver because its a bit more gore and just better i guess

A part of me misses the bizarro accents of the old dub on the first(?) anime series based on Guyver. Even if this version makes more sense and is more true to the manga, there's always a place in my heart for the "original". Also, did anybody ever see Guyver: Out of Control -- that one with the female guyver II?

first things first it's guyver gigantic. secondly against the fight with a zoa master he sorta died along with a ship that was controled by a oversized controle metal (the thing on his forehead) in his finnal moment he wanted power to defeat the creep so the ship granted his request and merged with him into a capsule like thing wich was stored by chrono's (they didn't knwo what it was) and then they took over the earth and guyver 3 formed a resistance with some humans this is it in a nutshell

Well the Manga which started in 87,88? -present has not ended nor any new innovating besides the ongoing struggle against Chronos which is not making any progress against a giant. It won't end but my expectation is to see our favourite anti-hero Agito take over Chronos and turn on Humanity and Sho is force to face him!

It most likely couldn't be anything but canceled, the manga it's based on is still in making the author makes 1 chapter every month or so. as such we would only get a few more episodes with a pretty open plot yes even opener then this) just wait for a year or 2 till we have enough chapters to make a squeal/remake.

you should just watch the whole 26 episode series the newest one trust me it will answer your questions hot series

the only ones that got to me a little were tetsuro and mizuki but i thought the villains were really good

omg there are subtitled versions it takes 5 mins to look around for them and as for me i kind of preferred aptom in this series u saw a lot more of his char the original animation was pretty good but the new style is very modern day manga a bit too plain at times

FYI RareAir310 Kronos are good guys. It's just Commander Gyuo is a dick trying to take over Kronos. Or atleast, that is what happens in the manga. Several of the Zoalords are evil and the rest of Kronos are actually good guys trying to make the world a better place.

6-12 were bad because of the low production value.

This 2nd series focus' way too much on Mizuki and how the Guyver affects her. I believe they contributed a whole episode to her perspective. Wicked freaking lame. I also like how Aptom was all hanging out with the kids and Guyver3 (Who by the way is extremely sedate and not nearly as interesting.). This series is a joke compared to the first one.

今更ですが、ギガンティックに進化した理由がアルカンフェルがどうやっても 戦闘すら成立しないほど強かったので新しいガイバーを作ったんですよね^^ なので＝対アルカンフェル用に進化した。　なのでゾアロードよりは少し上みたいな？

@Windclaw 89's vers. was stupid as hell, with poor proportions/colors of Guyvers & not consistent with the plot.
