    I was fortunate enough to swoop one of these beauties today for $450. Came with two titles, Bust A Move and Samurai Shodown II. The unit itself will need some cosmetic love but that's to be expected with a unit from the 90s. Still very stoked. 😏

    We had different Neo Geo MVS cabinets in the UK. I have a smaller green MVS cabinet.

    I think the ones in Mexico were blue! In America they were always red, it's synonymous with "neo geo".. people think red as soon as you say the name.

    Hello, I'm restoring a cabinet like this, my gabinte had adapted Joystick with some perforations in the panel of buttons. I do not know what kind of buttons, joystick and microswitches were what they used originally. Someone could help me?

    The original joysticks are made by IL , and the buttons are concave microswitch buttons from Happ, you can order both from www.ParadiseArcadeShop.com... you can get the joysticks from Happ too, but they've changed over the years and the IL joysticks are the original manufacturer. For the microswitch pressure you just use the standard ones.

    How did you find the correct color red paint?

  • @ChadLuciano
    @ChadLuciano3 жыл бұрын

    2:05 Original Neo Geo Arcade MVS cabinets were not silk-screened...it is a membrane wrap that was somewhat semi-transparent and applied after you painted the cabinet. I have restored many of these machines and have never seen a silk-screened version ever in person or online.

    You're absolutely wrong but you probably already know that, there's no membrane wrap, lol where did you invent that?

    @@LyonsArcade Amazing how fast folks are to jump down one's throat and automatically tell other folks they are wrong and nuts...so here we go...it is not "silk screening" to manufacture the arcade cabinet artwork it is "industrial inkjet" printed on to a vinyl or plastic like material. As I stated before, give me an email address and I will gladly share with my video and pictures of the process with you. It is you sir that is wrong and with some careful Googling and a little bit of reading you will soon understand something that you have falsely believed and communicated here in your video.
