It was during the rule of the 11th Shogun, Tokugawa Ienari. Nemuri Kyoshiro lived a solitary life, turning a blind eye to duty, human emotions, and compassion after learning the cruel secret of his birth. At the behest of the original author, Renzaburo Shibata, Masakazu Tamura was chosen as the lead actor. With his beauty and nihilistic demeanor, he captivated women while disposing of looming incidents using his secret technique, the "Engetsu Sappo" (Full Moon Assassination) style. During the time of the 11th Shogun Ienari, there roamed a wandering ronin named Nemuri Kyoshiro, with oddly fair skin and crimson hair tied in a kimono. He exuded an aura akin to an unapproachable razor, bearing a sorrowful past...
