I haven't been this excited, thrilled, happy, pumped about music since Appetite for Destruction and Permanent Vacation were out. The rock landscape has been a virtual wasteland since 1990. I remember someone saying once that you don't know how empty you are until you are filled up again. Band-Maid, Nemophila and Hanabie have filled me back up, and I now realize how empty I have been for 30 years. The last 2 years since I first saw two reactions to Band-Maid Domination (one live and one OMV, shout out to Tank and Champ) have been the best since I was in college in the late 80s.

They are just fire. 2nd fav band behind Lovebites. Saw them in L.A. a yr ago and they were awesome. Their guitar duo of Saki & Hazuki are my favs right behind Midori & Miyako of Lovebites. Shorter solos, but they are fantastic. Mayu's vocals are so unique. Tamu the drummer is a beast and Haraguchi-San is an excellent bass player (she's super animated).

Loved all the Nemo reactions today! I would suggest checking out Life, Revive, and Change the World. I would do the live versions for all 3, the lives are just so much better then the music videos in my opinion.

All of there original songs are amazing, you have a wonderful time ahead of you. If you haven't done Adabana (the studio version), your audience is waiting :) You still have to discover that these women are also absolutely amazing at: doing covers of other bands songs, I recommend you start with "Shimi"

Tamu (drummer) has her personal workout (during rehearsals and their live shows) for sure. 😂 This awesome lady beats the crap out of her drums - and the harder it gets, the better it sounds. 😂 They own the stage, shred the place, let it look easy, and smile happily while doing so. Outrageous! 😂 They let many established Metal bands look like average. I remember many Metal bands of hairy and sweating males, who wanted to look impressively, but did not deliver _half_ of Nemophila's quality. We should relish Nemophila's music as long as we possibly can. 🐺💮

Generational band, imo. My current favorite band anywhere, and on their way to being legends.

Best damn mic swinger in the business and I will fight anyone who says different.

Good eye concerning the Tamu’s microphone. There was a person moving it for her and in a way I feel sorry for him. Tamu just beats the heck out of her drums. In fact I’ve seen her break her sticks a few times, in person and on videos. To her credit, she can pull out a spare and not miss a beat. Good thing she’s not a gunslinger, or we would all be dead, (LOL). I’m not sure if her stage hand can hear anymore. ❤️🌸

Typically, it's pronounced the second way. Since it's not necessarily a native Japanese word it's up in the air how you'd prefer to pronounce. In Japan, they don't accent syllables like in English. Every syllable carries equal stress, and differences can occur in pitch variation. So in Japanese, you can usually hear them say (phonetically) Neh-mo-fee-la. And Japanese have one way to sound out their vowels and they are usually always pronounced that way. "E" is similar to a short E sound [eh] in English; "O" is similar to the long O sound [low] in English; "I" is similar to a long E [fee] sound in English; and "A" is like a short O sound [not] in English.
